This was my fourth stay at the d'Alsace and I was pleased to note that it retains cleanliness and overall good value. For first time stayers it is easy to find (fairly close to the railway station), easy free parking, free WiFi and an easy walk into the pretty town center.

The hotel and the rooms are quite plain, although the surroundings are pretty. Staff is very friendly though, and helped us with getting a ride, as there were no taxis available (don't ask me why). The area was quiet too, so we had a good nights sleep.

This is the 2nd time we've been here, last year an overnight stop with family and this week an overnight stop with friends heading to the black forest. Rooms very clean and comfortable, the continental breakfast is plentiful. The propriorters are most welcoming and helpful. A short walk to the town where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Used it as stopover during our journey from the Alps to Belgium. Situated on the border with Germany, the hotel is just on the outskirts of the little, nice village of Wissembourg and within walking distance of the city centre with a good choice of decent restaurants. The hotel has private, free parking space (no fence so better not to... More

The hotel has been under new management since approximately two years, and some gentle refurbishment/repainting has been done, but the rates remain usefully lower than you would pay for equivalent accommodation in a larger town/city. The rooms are comfortable and if you have one of the rooms above the little River Lauter (the hotel actually straddles the little river that... More

we enjoyed our three nights at this affordable place. Easy to drive to, clean, though somewhat small rooms. Excellent breakfast and really good service! I prefer small hotels such as this where you get to know the staff immediately, and they recognize you!

This quite large hotel is located on the edge of town, requiring about a 10 minute walk into the centre of Wissembourg. Reception was charming and helpful with some English spoken. The room was neat and clean but the smallest we encountered on our 25 day walk through Les Vosges, tucked up under the roof. The bathroom was serviceable but... More

If all you want is a good value room, and efficent friendly service this is the hotel to choose in Wissembourg. Some aspects are a bit tired but the new owners are working to upgrade, and at the price you cannot complain. Reasonable breakfast, little short on cold cheese etc, but a very fair price Quiet location , if not... More
