I was there with my wife for a romantic stay. Our stay was orherwordly. We slept in the room with the boat and were as if in a boat. Wonderfull stay and nice breakfast. We saw also the other rooms and they look all great. Restaurant was closex but it seems also to be an experience.

What a lovely secluded hideaway tucked away in the Belgian countryside. We stayed in the Latcho-Drom caravan with Donotalia the fortune teller (though she kinda creeped me out a bit). The caravan was so well thought out! The features were in keeping with my vision of an old fortune teller's caravan... nothing was overlooked! What a beautiful way to spend... More

Every room is fantasy themed. We stayed in the chamber of the trolls !! Like sleeping under a roof of tree roots absolutely incredible. We would definatley visit again and can only suggest you check out their website.

As a Solo traveller utisiling public transport this was one of the most difficult places I went to during my month in Europe. Its a little fantasy land and the room I had was incredible, like nothing ive stayed before which was the reason for going there. However it is not in Durbuy but some 10km out of Durbuy and... More

My wife is nuts about quirky things like this and she was blown away by the atmosphere and detail that has gone into these rooms. We stayed in the Trolls Den which was like living in a Tolkein story. The attention to detail in the features was just amazing on both an artistic and practical side. If you want to... More

Amazing what this interior decorator has created! His fantasy is unlimited, but his building skills also. You sleep in a forest with actual fish swimming in a pond! Or on a boat floating in water! Magical! If you ask the owner he will show you the other rooms, so you can catch a glimpse of this magical world

We booked this hotel for February 2015 in "Legende De Trolls" room, and we just loved it! From the pictures we saw online we couldn't really tell what it would be like, but it turned out to be extremely spacious, cosy and completely amazing! The place was clean, secure and didn't lack in the usual hotel facilities. I would book... More

We spent 4 days at the hotel. If you have children the experience is once in a lifetime. My wife was skeptical but came around once we arrived. Stay in the horse (Cheval) if at all possible. The location is central to many restaurants and local attractions. The staff was very friendly, even though a working knowledge of French would... More

When I booked the "room", the Trojan horse, some months ago I was not sure about my choice. It's the first time that I decided to book in a not traditional hotel. It was definitely the right move. My spouse and I enjoyed ... really. As soon as you enter into the property where the rooms and the Trojan horse... More

When we walked into the room I was absolutely amazed, we had never seen such a room ever. Our bed was in a boat which was in the water and moving, how cool is that?!? (Ile du maquarie) However, after the first charm had worn off we realized that even though it was amazing it was also amazingly uncomfortable. The... More
