We spent 4 days at the hotel. If you have children the experience is once in a lifetime. My wife was skeptical but came around once we arrived. Stay in the horse (Cheval) if at all possible. The location is central to many restaurants and local attractions. The staff was very friendly, even though a working knowledge of French would... More

When I booked the "room", the Trojan horse, some months ago I was not sure about my choice. It's the first time that I decided to book in a not traditional hotel. It was definitely the right move. My spouse and I enjoyed ... really. As soon as you enter into the property where the rooms and the Trojan horse... More

When we walked into the room I was absolutely amazed, we had never seen such a room ever. Our bed was in a boat which was in the water and moving, how cool is that?!? (Ile du maquarie) However, after the first charm had worn off we realized that even though it was amazing it was also amazingly uncomfortable. The... More

We have just spent the most magical amazing night here in the trojan horse and the chamber of the trolls. This whole hotel is really special and so imaginative....we were given a tour of some of the other rooms the following morning and were awed by them all. You have to accept that from the outset this is an experience,... More

In my view this is a great location to stay 1 night with a couple. U will not have seen anything like this before, and probably never will! We stayed in the boat chamber, and what an experience that was! An old closet from a seamstress/tailor, an old bar to sit at on the top floor, and below that a... More

Stayed for a night after finding it on the internet. Totally recommend it. Well priced for what it is. Only downside was it was further from town of Durbuy than we thought. Def stay here again but this time book at the restaurant next door.

This place is really breathtaking! We're still impressed by this awesome suite. We love the whole architecture - both inside and outside. This is an amazing design concept! Chapeau!! The suite is clean and you've got everything that you need for a great stay: Big, warm beds, a cozy stove, a bath en suite (with a great bath tub and... More

We stayed one night in the legend of trolls room and one night in the Trojan horse room. Both rooms were so unique and we really enjoyed taking a bit of a travel break to relax in the rooms for the evening. The legend of trolls room was my favorite, it was very cosy and charming. It is on the... More

La Balade des Gnomes is absolutely marvelous. This is the second time we have stayed there. The pictures just do not do this place justice. We stayed in the Forest room last year and this year stayed in the Space ship room. The Bathroom actually has hydraulics to open and close the door like a space ship! Even the bed... More

Difficult to get to if you don't have a car (like me) but well worth it! The room was great. I stayed in the Legend of the Trolls room and felt like in an enchanted forest. It is annoying that there are set times when you can check in, so you have to go out of your way to get... More
