I spent one night with my husband and our son of four years at Chez Tante Alice. We had a beautiful stay there. The house is beautifully renovated and there is a nice atmosphere. We had a problem with our car and Marie-France was so kind to offer us to stay in the house till the problem was solved. She... More

It was an absolute delight to stay with Marie-France & Didier at Chez Tante Alice. Our visit began with a warm welcome, and finished with a goodbye hug........and in between was perfect ! Marie-France was a superb hostess, willingly providing advice and imparting a wealth of local knowledge. Marie-France went out of her way to make special arrangements & reservations... More

My partner Cate and I spent two nights at Chez Tante Alice, November 7-8th 2014. In a word: exquisite. Beyond our expectations. We were warmly welcomed by Marie-France and Didier. Every question was helpfully answered, every request happily catered for- maps for walking provided, an excellent breakfast with home made breads and jams laid out, room was warm, comfortable and... This is a lovely place to stay for a few days while exploring the villages and hiking trails of the Ardennes. It is centrally located, but away from the crowds. We really appreciated the maps and advice given by Marie-France, her recommendations for hikes, driving itineraries and restaurants were all spot on. Our room was spacious, clean, charming, and comfortable,... More

We spent just one night at Chez Tante Alice this time, and wished it could have been two - or three, or four! Our room on the ground floor was just as nice as our favourite one upstairs - super comfy bed, excellent bathroom, beautifully decorated. The stars of breakfast are Marie-France's home-made jams - there are so many yummy... More

We stayed here for two nights and loved the atmosphere and the lovely host and hostess of the B&B. the rooms were clean and sparsely decorated. The bathroom was quite large and equipped with the amenities you would expect. The breakfast consisted mostly of breads and fresh fruit as well as hard boiled eggs and their homemade jams.

We have just returned from The house of Aunt Alice, as charming as it's name. We went mainly to see Durbuy which was 12 kilometres away. It was a pleasant journey through the countryside and small villages. Our stay was faultless. Marie and Didier were the perfect hosts and were so helpful in every way. A lovely converted barn which... More

My partner and I already went twice Chez Tante Alice, and we'll be back for sure. Marie France and Didier are just as awesome as their house - and nothing compares to their breakfast.. A lot of nice walks around, and very close to Durbuy. Looking forward for our next visit! Sandrine and Marco

We went with 3 couples last november to "Chez Tante Alice" in Aisne. We found the whole happening just amazing : - great rooms and perfect beds - very hygienic - perfect host (the lady and her husband), always present, yet very discrete - the best breakfast ever (superb organic bread - perfect croissants) - perfect local specialties like cheeses... We stayed here three nights and were very happy with the accommodations. The house is beautifully decorated and our room on the second floor was clean and comfortable. Marie-France was a great hostess and the breakfasts were terrific. It was very quiet and we slept soundly every night we were there. Be aware that this B&B is in Aisne, which... More
