Unusual hallways: The staggered design was probably meant to baffle sound, but it didn't. I could still hear children several rooms down the hall. It also made it difficult to travel straight down the hallway with luggage. Rooms were very small, but ok. Beds were the most comfortable I've experienced in Europe! Breakfast was ok. You could cook your own... More

Outside-look hotel great (old castle). Surroundings more than great. Very nice town, everything you need. Rooms very small, very basic. Clean bud not very modern. Cealing very low. Breakfast very basic. Overall not wearth the price: over 150 EUR for 1 night 2 adults and 2 small children.

Been there for three days with our kid of 4 years old in a hotel room with breakfast solution. We had a room on third floor, mansarde type. Room was quite small with three beds. Room had all necessary amenities though and was tidy and clean. Breakfast is not of the highest quality, but for its price it was a... More

Stayed at hotel with a group of approximately 35 people. Room was basic but clean. Breakfast was self service, have had more choice at other hotels, but what was on offer was enough for my personal tastes. Evening meals were booked the evening before and were always a meat or fish dish and no alternatives such as pasta or salad... More

Our group stayed at Floreal La Roche for a seminar. Even though the hotel looks classy from the outside, the rooms are very small and only offer very basic comfort. I did not sleep well, because the bed was of poor quality. The location is very nice though, if you like going for walks or bike tours in nature. I... More

This place is really off the beaten path. Unless you have a need to stay in La Roche-en-Ardenne, I wouldn't recommend this location. In fact, it's actually located out of town but the GPS doesn't tell you that. Cute town and probably nice property in the summer, but the building itself; rooms, carpet, etc. are worn, old and dirty. Our... More

Beware: Hotel runs a Rave every Saturday night till 2am. If you want to get to sleep at a reasonable time avoid this hotel on a Saturday night. The volume and thumping bass was excessively intrusive two floors up and sleep was impossible. The outside view of the hotel is impressive, however accommodation is fairly basic, although the hotel is... More

We stayed here for 5 nights, 2 adults & 2 children in a family room which comprised 2 separate bedrooms a hallway and bathroom which was well appointed and clean. The hotel is perfect for families, it is situated in a pretty forest overlooking the picturesque town of La Roche and the river D'Ourthre flows through the grounds so if... More

We had a one night stop off here after a long drive. Thank goodness it wasn't longer. The hotel is fine, but just not the sort of place I would ever choose to stay again. We paid 190 euros for a room sleeping 5 of us (3 small children) including breakfast. The room was ok, pretty cramped with a bedroom... More
