Everything was great --- guest room size, condition, breakfast, neighborhood. The internet was a little iffy in that the Wi-Fi didn't reach much farther than the breakfast room. Overall though, on our 15 day trip through Europe, this was one of the nicest places we stayed. We especially liked how genuinely friendly the owners were. My only regret was that... More

Hard to find but worth the effort. Ehenbichl is in a peaceful valley surrounded by the mountains. Hotel is modern, clean, with great views. The castles are lit at night. We enjoyed the balcony and took some great walks around the "neighborhood". Breakfast was good with good choices. Good value. Communication was no problem at all.

We have stayed several times the most recent in October of 2013. The rooms are big, comfortable and immaculate. The views of the castle and the mountains are great. The breakfast is wonderful and the breakfast room is lovely with a view of the mountains. We always rest well here. Other reviewers mention "outdated bathrooms" but ours was modern, clean... More

This place is great. Large rooms and very clean. Typical large breakfast. The lady speaks enough English to answer our questions. This works best for a party that is driving, it's a ways away from the train station (although you can take a taxi). We stayed 3 nights in September to visit the Fussen area of Germany. We need to... Very nice option in Reutte (actually in Ehenbichl, just next door to Reutte) with clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Also a very quiet and restful place to stay. Room #16 is very nice, with views of the Ehrenberg ruins above town. The hotel is a little hard to find, but the Reutte map in the Rick Steves Guide book is... More

This B&B is run by a wonderful older couple, she speaks some english, he speaks none, but this wasn't an issue. Their hospitality was so refreshing and warm, we were charmed. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival in the evening and cooked a wonderful meal. The breakfast was standard (yogurt, cold cereal, pastries, cured meats). Mostly German tourists staying... More

While the owners were nice, they did NOT speak English. The gentleman did not speak or claim to understand a word of English & the woman only knew limited phrases. If not for their adult son, we would not have gotten any information. There was no indication that they provided any meals other than the breakfast buffet (which was quite... More

What a wonderful, quaint pension. The couple who own it are just wonderful. They speak a little English, but make up for it with their charm and hospitality. They went out of their way to get us fresh breads, meats, and even fixed us hard-boiled eggs for breakfast. The price was great and the location is on a quiet street... More

Stayed one night after visiting 'the castles'. It's a little tricky to find, but what a find it is. Out your balcony you are looking at the northern edge of the Alps across a green meadow. We checked in late in the evening, just enough light to see pink tipped mountain tops, but in the morning the view took your... More

Showed up in Reutte and my desired hotel was booked. They recommended this place. It was great. It's located right under the schlosskopft ruins (a bit out of town). The owners are very nice and even thought they didn't speak excellent english (I don't speak German very well either) they did their best to make me feel at home. Was... More
