The hotel was close enough to the amenities of the local total Reutte. Its location was splendid and the view from our windows were amazing of the mountains. This is a great hotel for families, especially if driving since it is about a mile outside of Reutte. Big and spacious with many common areas indoor and out, and options for children of all ages. Much attention to the comforts of home (a basket of blankets for outdoor seating, pianos happy to be played, play areas for children, etc).... more

The staff were helpful and the hotel was comfortable. The room could have done with modernising and as another review mentioned, the restaurant is home to rather large fly colony - that was disappointing. It's location is almost outside Reutte so not the most centrally located place either. more

We decided to visit the so amazing and romantic Neuschwanstein Castle. we looked for a hotel in the area... and found a well recommended hotel advertised as at 2 km distance the "Maximilian"... Eventually it was at 30km FROM THE CASTLE (what a lyers)... and the restaurant has good reviews. but i don’t think for the service. ..WE WAITED 1.5... more
