We stayed here for two wonderful nights early this month, October 14, 2014. What a treasure this charming B&B turned out to be! It was everything that makes a memorable and enjoyable stay at a B&B a memory to savor long after the trip is over. Annelies is the absolute perfect charming and gracious hostess. The accommodations were just great,... More

What a wonderful place to stay when traveling! The host family makes you a part of their family and are there to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. And why wouldn't it be enjoyable when: - You are greeted as a long lost friend and shown all the opportunities for touring in the area. Several places were recommended that... More

We stayed here for two nights. Anneliese and her family are very welcoming! When we arrived, they offered us cake. They didn't mind that we arrived late, later than we expected. She treated us like long-time friends, offering us whatever advice or insights that we needed. She even suggested that we make a sandwich at breakfast for later in the... More

We stayed at Ginterhof for three days as part of our trip to Europe. It was our favorite hotel of the entire trip and very reasonably priced. We would have been happy to stay many more days. The host and hostess were friendly and knowledgable about the area. They gave us great advice for activities. We felt welcomed by the... More

Staying at the Gintherhof was like staying with family or better. Annelies and the whole family are so caring and attentive. There are hand-written notes for you, needless to say the room was caringly prepared, more than clean, and even included a hiking backpack for guests with a rain cover, which came in handy. AMAZING breakfast with home made bread,... More

Our hostess Annelies was extremely warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The room was clean and cozy and her personal note was a nice touch. She recommended dinner at the Hotel Maximillian just a short walk down the hill. Dinner was delightful and we enjoyed typical Austrian cuisine and the local band entertaining was an added surprise! We... More

We just returned from 2 weeks in Europe and this was one of our top places to stay. Lovely family and home, very clean, and all our needs were met above and beyond. The cows below the home are such a nice touch and the food was AMAZING! It's a great location, outside of the bigger cities which was preferred.... More

Two nights in the Gintherhof while visiting the area of Bavaria. My wife and I shared a room, the folks here are extremely hospitable. Filled with smiles and attending to every need. We enjoyed a huge breakfast spread with breads, cheeses, meats, jams, yogurts and good coffee. They recommended a great restaurant in town. Highly recommend this quant little home... More

Very pleasant and relaxing experience. The room was cozy, spacious and clean, and breakfast was simply rich and delicious. But it is the friendly and familiar atmosphere of this family-run Bauernhof that made our stay truly great. The hosts are attentive and really do their best to make you feel "at home."

warm welcoming, willing staff. It is small family run hotel, with very nice rooms. Rooms are so cozy, lot of wooden parts, what just make you feel you are in the right place. Breakfast was so delicious, big choise of breads, cheeses and ham or salami..Also there are cereals and lots more.
