We just returned from 2 weeks in Europe and this was one of our top places to stay. Lovely family and home, very clean, and all our needs were met above and beyond. The cows below the home are such a nice touch and the food was AMAZING! It's a great location, outside of the bigger cities which was preferred.... More

Two nights in the Gintherhof while visiting the area of Bavaria. My wife and I shared a room, the folks here are extremely hospitable. Filled with smiles and attending to every need. We enjoyed a huge breakfast spread with breads, cheeses, meats, jams, yogurts and good coffee. They recommended a great restaurant in town. Highly recommend this quant little home... More

Very pleasant and relaxing experience. The room was cozy, spacious and clean, and breakfast was simply rich and delicious. But it is the friendly and familiar atmosphere of this family-run Bauernhof that made our stay truly great. The hosts are attentive and really do their best to make you feel "at home."

warm welcoming, willing staff. It is small family run hotel, with very nice rooms. Rooms are so cozy, lot of wooden parts, what just make you feel you are in the right place. Breakfast was so delicious, big choise of breads, cheeses and ham or salami..Also there are cereals and lots more.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Gintherhof for 3 nights in September. It was wonderful. Although it was a bit difficult to find, if you look for the Hotel Maximillian, there is a directional sign nearby pointing to the Gintherhof, which is a short walk up the road. With all the reviews stating that it is a working... More

We stayed here for 2 nights during our visit to Bavaria. Even though the weather was unusually cold and foggy, we still had a great time. The entire family at Gintherhof made us feel at home from the minute we walked in the door. We enjoyed tea and homemade cakes every afternoon, an amazing breakfasts (where they encourage you to... We stayed at Gintherhof for 2 nights, June 11th and 12th, 2013. I found Gintherhof in Rick Steve's book, Though what he writes is positive, he does not give you any idea of what a treat you are in for. I also saw only excellent reviews (almost unheard of) here on trip advisor so I felt confidant making reservations. Annelies... More

We stayed at Gintherhof two nights the second week in June 2013. One of best B&B experiences we have had. Annelies was wonderful as were her parents. All the great things written are true. We enjoyed walking around the "neighborhood" and also spent time in Reutte taking in the architecture and ambience. Enjoyed taking the lift into the mountains (Annelies... More

Our family of four stayed at the Gintherhof B & B for a couple of days at spring break. We just loved our time. The family there was so nice...3 generations. The cows and llamas were the best. Each meal was spectacular (in a quiet way). The rooms were extremely comfortable and lovely. Quiet location (hard to find). Great for... More

Obviously, we adore Gintherhof and the cozy little town of Reutte- we made a point to stop in Reutte again this year just so we could make Gintherhof our home for a few days. This is the kind of bed & breakfast that you love waking up to in the morning in. The aroma of fresh breads and cakes baking... More
