We only stayed at this hotel for one night but wish that we would have had more time to enjoy it! The grounds are amazing as you turn corners and see lovely historic features. The pool was beautiful just wish we would have had time to enjoy it. The only bad thing is their was no hot water!

On our recent 18 day trip to Nicaragua, we stayed at a total of 8 different hotels or resorts. One night was at the Hotel Granada, well situated on a main street near the square and pedestrian areas, though still enjoying quiet surroundings. Initial impressions were of a hotel with distinct character, with lots of rock construction in the lobby... More

The Hotel Granada is a charming hotel with old style architecture in a great location in Granada - close to both the central square and Lake Nicaragua. The staff is both friendly and helpful. Our room was large with two double beds. The air conditioning worked well, but unfortunately the shower didn't have very hot water. The pool was extremely... More

The hotel is a 10 min or so walk from the action/bars/restaurants and far enough away from the noise. Very nice friendly service, clean and right out the front door for horse drawn carriage/boat tours. Rooms are VERY dark, with only one window with little light. Noisy a/c Breakfast ok. Pool, nice and huge, but, construction going on and children's... More

This hotel is very pretty with amazing old world charm. The rooms are a bit dark, but that is not where we spent most of our time. The pool area and eating areas are very pretty. We did spend a good amount of time at the pool to cool off after a day of sightseeing in town. The hotel is... More

This is a huge place. Clearly designed for hosting conferences, the pool has to be the largest of all hotels in Granada. The landscaping is gorgeous & because it is several blocks from the city central area close to the lake it is nice & quiet. All rooms have COLD ac & the restaurant had a delightful older server who... More

My wife and I stayed three nights at this hotel in November. The pool is one of the most spectacular we have seen, and we enjoyed it all we could. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the Manager himself made it a point to speak with us. Breakfast is custom-cooked--not a buffet style. This is a large property which... More

We took a group of Yoga students to Granada and stayed at the Hotel Granada. To start, the lady that does group reservations, America Guadamuz, was so helpful and willing to work with us on anything we needed. The staff was so friendly and helpful as well. Thanks to Hotel Granada, our Yoga Retreat and Vacation was successful and an... More

First of all our room was number 403, a very large room that had air condition and a large table/ nice couch and chair. If your looking for a hot shower then look else where, but remember the climate is hot and the cooler shower really does feel good. The owner is a wonderful person who was on the property... More
