Beautiful hotel in the heart of Granada. Rooms were comfortable and affordable. As other reviewers have mentioned, the door keys didn't work during our stay and we had to have staff members escort us to our room each time, which really didn't present too much of a problem for our group. They offered free dinner for all 5 of us... More

The rooms are just average, however, the hotel grounds are very nice. Beware that all rooms with a balcony also will come with extremely loud noise eminating from the various bars and clubs on Calle Calzada. My main issues with this place was that #1 I wasn't allowed to bring a lady friend into the hotel unless I had previously... More

We chose Hotel Dario on recommendation from another property. The room and property were quite clean, and the central garden quite lovely. We had both their menu and buffet breakfasts and were quite happy. The cafe also made proper espresso, which was nice for courtyard relaxing. Dario sits just off of the main square and is surrounded by restaurants and... More

In the centre of Granada a beautiful hotel with excellent courteous staff always willing to help. A problem with door keys meant we had to ask staff to be let into our room everytime but they offered us a free meal to compensate which was really appreciated. Great food as well - breakfast a veritable feast! I had the balcony... More

We loved this resort! Perfect location on the main strip, wonderful staff, inviting pool, terrific food and perfect Spanish Colonial setting! We were with kids so we requested a room in the back of the hotel so we didn't here the street noise. I bet the people watching is great up front, though. Highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is in a beautiful colonial house, excellent maintained, modern rooms, in the best location in Granada. Service was excellent, everyone helps with a smile and with true willingness to help. We had a great time.

We stayed at this hotel after traveling down from Managua and were not disappointed. A beautiful courtyard, pool and very spacious rooms await you. The breakfast was good and coffee was also adequate. Our only tip would be despite the lovely views from the balconies on the front rooms at the hotel is that the disco pumps out the music... More

My partner and I have stayed in Hotel Dario on previous visits to Granada. We have always enjoyed the ambience of this colonial-style hotel, with its large central courtyard, café, dining room, and nicely appointed rooms (on two floors). The biggest attraction for staying here, however, is its location on Calle La Calzada, a short walk from Central Park and... More

Spectacular hotel and breakfast. Very comfortable beds Beware there is Clorox in the shower and tap water. You can taste it. Security guard was amazing. Looked after our safety and needs more than anyone else at the hotel. Needed the manager at checkout and basically refused to come out of his box We needed an explanation regarding smoking outside the... More
