I love this hotel! I visited this hotel in May of 2013 after reading the reviews on trip advisor. I have to say, I was not disappointed. I liked it so much I stayed here again for 8 nights in January 2015. The architecture is lovely. The courtyard is very quiet and it is a perfect place to swing in... More

Aiming for a full appreciation of what Nicaragua has to offer, we planned to stay at a mix of hotels and hostels throughout our 2 week trip. Our first hotel, ehhh, it sufficed. Our first hostel, it had its good points. And then we arrived to Hotel Patio del Malinche. Wow! You might find fancier hotels in Granada but I... More

The hotel is in a beautiful building with nice landscaping and a cozy lobby, however, it is in a somewhat noisy area of town (complete with dogs and loud music at night). Although the staff is nice and very helpful, there is no security (unlike some other hotels). The room has A.C., a small TV, and looks clean but is... More

I stayed at this hotel in December, 2014, and I would certainly recommend this location for your visit to Granada. The hotel itself is very nice – very clean and well kept. I thought the entire ambience of the hotel was first-rate, and I really felt like I was in an authentic and genuine establishment. The room I stayed in... More

We loved our stay here! We were traveling with our two daughters, ages 9 and 11, and stayed three nights at Patio de Malinche. The place was impeccably clean, and the staff was fantastic. An authentic friendliness that was neither too in your face or too dismissive. Louis and Edwin were awesome. The girls lived in the pool and it... More

Stayed one night and really enjoyed the relaxed setting, especially by the pool where it's cool. The communal areas are covetable and spacious to.o. My room on ground floor was nicely done and had more than I need eg I rarely use the tv. Staff ordered me a cab for my morning flight from Managua and he arrived early and... More

We only stayed for one night but we enjoyed the beautiful architecture of the hotel and the clean, comfortable, albeit small, rooms. The hotel staff was outstanding and arranged a taxi for an early departure to the airport in Managua as well as a prepared breakfast to go (sandwiches as well as a plate of fruit for our gluten free... We stayed at this hotel for three nights in December. The staff was as friendly and helpful as can be. Our twin room was clean, nice and big enough. Garden and courtyard is really pretty. Good value for the price, even though we were there during high season.

We splurged for 2 nights when we visited Granda during our 5 week central america trip, and we are so glad we did! This place was over twice our usual budget, but you get more for your money than you think. Firstly, the location is perfect. Just a few streets over from the main tourist hub to feel out of... The hotel is beautiful and well kept from the small-but-present rumble of downtown Granada (it's conveniently located a few blocks away from the main plaza). The rooms are super comfy, and the hotel has a calm and gorgeous night atmosphere. Breakfast was generous and tasty. The only downside was the hotel wi-fi access, which pretty much was non-existent and we... More
