My fiance and I stayed here when we visited my sister who was doing the Peace Corps at the time in NIcaragua. This was our "fancy" place on this trip becuase we roughed it the rest of the time so maybe that could be a reason that I LOVED it here. But I don't think so- I think it's just... more

We spent 2 nights at this hotel during our visit to Nicaragua. We enjoyed our stay here. The Spanish couple who are the owners of the inn are very gracious and attentive to their guests' needs. The small hotel is centrally located - about 2 blocks from the main plaza. Even though the hotel is in the center of town,... more

My husband and I stayed at Patio del Malinche for three nights at the beginning of the month and had a great time. Granada is great city located in close proximity to several national parks. We loved our stay at this hotel and highly recommend staying here. The rooms are very clean and air conditioned and the staff is very... more

My wife and I stayed here for five nights. It's located about 2 blocks off the main square and we were glad to get away from the hustle and bustle of the square. We surveyed several other hotels while in Granada and were very pleased with Malinche. We appreciated the pool. We had hoped for a larger room, but didn't... more

We (a German couple in our 50s) stayed for 2 nights in this wonderful hotel in the center of the old town of Granada. In the last 30 years we have been traveling a lot all over the world and with the years established our personal list of favorite hotels. The Patio del Malinche is now on the list !... more

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The owners where wery friendly and extremly helpful. They even called a place on the Island of Ometepe to reserve a room for me there at no additional charge. Rooms a bright and cheerful and have TV and a safe deposit box. The front gate is locked at night but someone is... more

This hotel is truly a gem. When I travel I always try to stay at independently owned hotels. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly, the ambiance is relaxing and the hotel is well maintained and clean. The owners have a friendly, quiet, dog named Pedro who always stopped by our table at breakfast time for bacon. The rooms are... more

This is a very special place. I arrived tired, hot and dishevelled, after a rather testing chicken bus journey from San Jan del Sur. Within minutes of arriving and being greeted by the charming owners I was happy, relaxed and at home. We chose a room downstairs, opening to the pool side. Rooms are small and cozy, very well designed,... more

My wife and I stayed in Patio del Malinche 3 nights, from April 12-14, 2009. The hotel has a colonial style to it. It was very clean, comfortable, quiet, breakfast was delicious, staff was courteous. Owner personally helped with our luggage and walked us 1/2 block to the nearest garage for rental vehicle. Staff helped us with directions and recommended... more

My husband and I just recently spent 2 days at Hotel Patio Del Malinche on March 19th. We stayed in Granada as part of my birthday celebration. I have to say upon finding our hotel and walking through the main entrance I was more than pleased with this beautiful, boutique hotel. It was everything I hoped it would be. With... more
