I had the pleasure of joining a friend to Nicaragua and we stayed at the Hotel Casa del Consulado in the heart of Granada, a wonderful chic town not too far from the Managua international airport. Hotel Casa del Consulado is a lovely boutique style hotel that has high quality friendly employees who maintain the property in great conditions. The... More

Casa del Consulado is a great small hotel at only two minutes away from Plaza Central and the main restaurants and bars. If you are looking for a cosy and well-decorated boutique hotel this is your choice! I loved the colony style of their rooms. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. One of the things I loved the most... More

We spent 3 memorable nights at Casa del Consulado. This lbeautiful boutique hotel is perfect for families and couples. The staff, location, and accommodations exceeded our expectations. The hotel is a very short walk to the busy Central Park and La Calzada but quiet enough for a good night sleep, the free breakfast is also a plus. Above all, the... More

We stayed here as a family end of June 2015. Their driver picked us up from the airport ($50 fee) which was very convenient. Nice pool, good bed & beautiful and spacious bathrooms. A little minus was that the Wi-Fi did not work in our room which was one of the two top rooms. Another odd thing is that the... More

This is the third time we have visited Granada and the first time we stayed at Hotel Casa del Consulado. We loved this hotel. The building is beautiful, the rooms were large and well-appointed, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious. There's also a beautiful view of Granada Cathedral from the second floor. The only constructive feedback I... More

Hotel itself is a nice colonial building, just with that ingredient makes it very interesting, samml cozy hotel, but big rooms and a patio in the middle of the hotel with nice small swimming pool. Located conveniently just two blocks away from the calzada a place filled with restaurants and bars. Breakfast are not so great but ok. The city... More

We didn't stay at the hotel, but wandered into it while we were walking about. We were immediately taken with the vibrant colors of the walls and surroundings. One of the employees offered to show us around so we toured the property and several of the bedrooms as well. We're world travelers andI also know Granada well. I would recommend... More

Nice hotel! It has a cool pool, the hotel/main areas are small and quiet with nice sitting areas. Clean place and they included a hot breakfast (omlette) in the rate. One block West of Parque Central. Everyone working here spoke English well also.

I loved my stay there! The location is terrific and the landscaping gorgeous and the breakfast plentiful and my bathroom distinctive and the staff amazing. The problem? The electricity went out. It wasn't the hotel's fault---all of Granada was down for about 13 hours. They kept after the utility and in the meantime tried to make the guests as comfortable... More
