My father and I have stayed here on two separate occasions. Both times the service has been great. Always someone at front desk who speaks fluent English. Hotel is starting to show some age but still gorgeous. Pool is fantastic. It is so clear. Will love to stay in two years when we go back!!!

I stayed here for three nights. The staff I encountered were all pretty helpful. The room was large, and had both aircon and fan, which was nice. There are two pools, the second of which is quite hidden, but isn’t very clean. I only had breakfast at the hotel once – it was very good, although quite expensive. One thing... More

This hotel was really nice. Front desk staff were always smiling and very helpful. Its central to everything and has a market and park area across from it. Several restaurants all around the hotel. There is a cigar factory less then two minutes away as well. The hotel has two pools, a smaller one in the back and another in... More

I loved, loved, loved this hotel. The staff and the service was exceptional. It is a convenient location. Wifi worked great at the pool, in my room (#9), and in the lobby. It took just a few minutes to get connected, but once I was connected there wasn't a problem. I had breakfast at the restaurant on two occasions. It... More

Our family of 6 had two Junior Deluxe Suites which were in a very quiet and private part of the hotel. It even had a small pool outside our door - great to cool off from very hot Granada. The hotel is a welcome oasis right off the hustle and bustle of the main square. Easy walking distance to all... More

Just stayed at the Colonial Hotel with my 3 kids (solo parenting). We had a poolside room (#15) which was ideal for the kids right beside the main pool. The hotel room was typical for an older style hotel in the city - so my expectations were met (neither exceeded nor disappointed). The pool area is small but served the... More

Really enjoyed this hotel! The staff is friendly and attentive and really goes the extra mile for you. There are two small but nice pools on the middle of the hotel that are a nice way to relax during the heat of the day. Free breakfast included every morning, and a great location next to the main park and cathedral.... More

If I compare the other hotels in the city this one is one of the best. The warm atmosphere good service and a large nice rooms with the windows aircondition and the view to the patio is the base. As a favor thehotel is just a few meter from the main square and the main street with many restaurants.

We enjoyed staying at The Hotel colonial, our room was on the second floor overlooking the pool with a small out door seating area. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The Colonial is slap-bang in the middle of the buzzy colonial city of Grenada. While it lacks a nice frontage with veranda and chairs, like the Alhambra opposite, it concentrates instead on three smart interior courtyards. These are immensely attractive, festooned with both original art and bougainvillea, and two of the courtyards have small swimming pools, a blessed relief in... More
