Enjoyed the Colonial, Right downtown Granada. Hotel staff and Owners were extremely nice. Very welcoming. Short walk to any restaurant or bar. Hotel offered excursions and food and travel tips for the area which was very helpful. Rooms were also very large and comfortable. My 3 girlfriends and I all fit in one room comfortably with lots of living space.... More

Our family of three stayed at the Hotel Colonial for five nights in July. We had a wonderful experience. The room and common areas were very clean and comfortable. Our room was spacious. The staff were helpful, friendly and kind. Both the AC in our room and the pool help elevate some of the hot, sweaty, humid Granada days more... More

Dear "Surfista" Thank you for commenting on us on Trip Advisor. I am glad you liked your stay with us. Thank you for the kind recommendation. Concerning the breakfast we decided not to include our a la carte breakfast (from US$ 4 - US$ 8.-) in the room rate as many people who stay a bit longer in Granada wish... More

We spent two nights at this hotel. Upon arrival they carried our "heavy" bags up a flight of stairs to a really nice room with a canopy bed. The pool is the centerpiece of the courtyard with beautiful vegetation surrounding. The staff was super friendly and gave us directions to everywhere and helped us reserve our ferry to Omotepe Island.... More

We came rolling into Granada on a rainy day after being picked up in Managua by a Julian...a driver sent by Colonial Hotel. Hands down, the best driver we've ever had anywhere in the world. In fact, everyone we encountered at this quaint hotel was friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed - ours even had a jacuzzi tub.... More

My family and I stayed at Hotel Colonial with Monkey Tours. The hotel is located conveniently near the central park, near a beautiful cathedral and restaurants. The rooms were ornately decorated with colors that I felt mixed with the colorfulness of Granada, and were clean and had good quality air conditioning. The garden inside was also absolutely beautiful with a... More
