perfect for the price you pay. Small parking , better advice in advance if you have a car. charming little garden inside and staff was very accomodating. Only negative point if the 15 minutes you have to walk to get to the action

Stayed three nights and assumed included free breakfast like every other place in nicargua. Only reason for 3 stars instead of 4. Courteous staff and accommodating. Rooms clean but a little small. $12 a day extra to use air conditioner and was presented with the surprise bill when leaving after three days for breakfasts. Food was good and hearty. Not... More

She was kind, hospitable and served fresh squeezed lemonade while we talked. She was overbooked and called Hotel Córdoba for us. We are grateful for her connections. Deborah & Simone Cautela, Camden , ME USA

Casa Barcelona is a good 12-15 minute walk to the central park along roads that are hazardous day or night due to the potholes croweded traffic and lack of light at night. There are also no nearby restaurants to alleviate this situation. The staff are really nice, and the breakfast option was good. Unfortunately, our room was very musty smelling... More

The 10 min walk into town shouldnt put you off this hotel as it is very walkable or cheap in a taxi. The cabins were clean, the location meant the hotel should be peaceful (unfortunately noisy neighbours meant it wasnt). Our toilet managed to lock itself so we went up to use the bathrooms in the main building. We made... More

We booked a room at Casa Barcelona through Hostelworld and paid a deposit. When we arrived at 5pm the owner said that they were fully booked and she had given away our room to someone else despite our reservation and deposit. As a result we had to wander around Granada at night looking for a hostel which was not ideal.... More

I loved Casa Barcelona! The staff are very helpful and kind. The breakfast and coffee were delicious! This was one of my favorite places I stayed at in Nicaragua. As long as you don't mind being a 10 minute walk from the touristy area, I highly recommend this place. Thank you Yexira for making my stay so comfortable and being... More

Stayed here recently for the first two nights of my Nicaragua/Costa Rica adventure. The hotel is not right in the city center, which made it a little bit interesting to walk to and from. The outer lying areas of Granada are dusty and filled with people going about their daily lives. We found the need to go through the bustling... More

We were so glad to arrive at this welcoming hotel after a busy few weeks. The manageress was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Then we chilled out in our room which was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, while the rain fell on the trees and bushes surrounding us. WiFi was ex, we got a good rate... More

The owner has a totally different concept of tourism, she is very social conscientious and honest. If you are looking for parties and noise this is not your place. If you look for an extra clean and relaxing hotel this is the one. The staff is very friendly and polite. The quality of the beds is awesome and at night... More
