I loved Casa Barcelona! The staff are very helpful and kind. The breakfast and coffee were delicious! This was one of my favorite places I stayed at in Nicaragua. As long as you don't mind being a 10 minute walk from the touristy area, I highly recommend this place. Thank you Yexira for making my stay so comfortable and being... More

Stayed here recently for the first two nights of my Nicaragua/Costa Rica adventure. The hotel is not right in the city center, which made it a little bit interesting to walk to and from. The outer lying areas of Granada are dusty and filled with people going about their daily lives. We found the need to go through the bustling... More

We were so glad to arrive at this welcoming hotel after a busy few weeks. The manageress was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Then we chilled out in our room which was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, while the rain fell on the trees and bushes surrounding us. WiFi was ex, we got a good rate... More

The owner has a totally different concept of tourism, she is very social conscientious and honest. If you are looking for parties and noise this is not your place. If you look for an extra clean and relaxing hotel this is the one. The staff is very friendly and polite. The quality of the beds is awesome and at night... More

As other reviewers have said, the thing that lets Hotel Casa Barcelona down is its location. You're basically in suburban Granada and the walk into town takes at least 15-20 minutes. The area surrounding it is really dirty, especially the river which has a landslide of rubbish falling into it. It's a very odd place for a hotel. We never... More

While in Costa Rica for work, we had to leave after 3 months to renew our visas, so a trip to. Granada sounded like a good plan. This place had been well reviewed and it was as described. It is not in the smartest neighbourhood, but is also close to the middle of town, only a short walk through the... More

Every single member of staff was so pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Garden is immaculate and creates a peaceful haven. Only 10 minutes or so walk to town center and very cheap taxi ride back at night. Rooms were very well designed and maintained and felt more like a boutique hotel

We stayed at Casa Barcelona for 2 nights and enjoyed it. For the price we did not expect anything fancy but were pleasantly surprised. The staff is super friendly, the rooms well kept and the courtyard green with a variety of plants. We really enjoyed the tranquility of this place and it's only a few blocks from the main square... Granada is a beautiful little colonial town, I got there during a Poetry Festival which was a shock as it was like a Rock Festival. But with POETS! Barcelona is just a little walk past the busy market but I always managed to stumble back after sampling the country's toxic rums in the main square.

Basically this is good place, with very clean rooms and nice garden. But, this is not good place if you search a good conversation. Also the location is a little bit far from the center, which mean quiet for sure.
