If you are heading to Nicaragua, you must stay here! Esther welcomes you like family and knows the lay of the land. The accommodations were clean, food was delicious and the location was in the heart of it all.

Pros: -Beautiful, nice, comfortable, and updated large rooms -AC and Hot water (It was common to not have either of these in Nica) -Amazing staff. Ester was SO helpful with recommendations for everything from lunch/dinner reservations to places to get a massage to travel arrangements to/from the airport -Close to Espressonista and beautiful church. Casa Cubana is your best option in Granada.Esther, the manager, makes you feel like at home and Hazel prepares a wide variety of the traditional nicaraguean breakfas. Don't miss the isletas tour with Vlad. Gracias Esther and Casa Cubana Team, our stay was perfect as usual!

This hotel / B&B hit all the points I was looking for during my stay to Granada. Very clean, super friendly owner, delicious breakfast, comfy hammock, and reasonable price. Its wifi was reliable and reasonably fast. Proximity to major points in town was pretty good. Staying here was a highlight of my trip to Granada and I would absolutely visit... More

We got into Granada late in the evening and were lovingly welcomed by Esther who gave us plenty of food and drink recommendations. The rooms were unique and spacious and the common area was very tranquil and inviting. Breakfast cooked by the amazing Hazel was the best breakfast I had on my entire Nicaragua vacation! I will definitely stay at... More

This was our third stay at Casa Cubana and it felt like coming home. Although we were only able to stay one night this time, we enjoyed going out to dinner with Esther and her friends and catching up on the latest Granada news. The property is perfectly maintained and has the ambiance of an upscale European hotel - beautiful... More

We decided to 'splurge' a bit after 'roughing it' at Little Corn Island. This felt like pure indulgence and in many ways it was. We were picked up by Andy at the airport and had an incredibly friendly ride into Granada. We were greeted by Esther who made all of us feel at home, but in a beautiful colonial paradise.... More

Had a fantastic experience at Casa Granada. The place is spacious and beautiful and casual. Hazel prepares a great breakfast, all fresh ingredients and enormous quantities. The location is convenient for anything you want to do, but the item that sets this place apart is Esther, who runs the place most of the year. She turns an ordinarily pleasant stay... More

Sincere thanks to the wonderful team - Esther, Andy, Hazel and Garry! The colonial Casa Cubana is a wonderful welcoming place with cozy rooms, a beautiful garden, pool and excellent breakfast. Esther organized the transport from Managua airport and provides all the informations that you need for the region. We took the bus to Masaya (in front of the house)... More
