Gerry and the Nica staff take care of every need and are useful in recommending local experiences and people. The beds themselves are comfy and instalations are state of the art. I must also mention that the pool in the middle of the courtyard makes for a welcome addition to families and other people who thrive on refreshment. A great... More

We had a great stay at Casa Del Agua. They sent a car to pick us up from the airport and Gerry, the owner, was gave helpful advice on sights and activities. Our double room and bathroom were spacious and clean, with ceiling and floor fans. We opted not to pay the extra $10 for A/C but it would have... More

I had planned on staying 3 three nights, but ended up staying 8. I had spent several nights in SJDS before Granada and the pan was to go to Leon and Estille after. I decided to settle down and cut out the additional travel and really enjoy Granada. Casa del Agua is in a great location, clean with a nice... More

Casa del Agua was originally recommended to me by an Irish friend who had stayed there previously. I stayed for four nights at the start of August. On arrival, Gerry was very welcoming. He gave a map and offered advice on what to do and where to go within the area. He recommended excellent restaurants and we took his advice... More

We stayed at Casa del Agua for two nights with another couple. We each had rooms at the front of the house and could leave window open all night and was not too noisy. We did not opt for a/c, and room was very warm but tolerable. Our host Gerry, was very helpful and had a great sense of humor.... More

My passion is to travel. Nicaragua is not only amazingly beautiful and diverse.,One of my favorite cities is Granada, Nicaragua. . I was extremely lucky to have found Casa del Aqua. A small hotel near the main plaza. It was the only place I truly felt at home. Jerry, the owner, goes out of his way to be so helpful... More

Casa del Agua is a very sweet intimate hotel... few rooms and a central kitchen if you feel like cooking and a small pool. Close to central park, but not noisey. This hotel is a great value...i'm not sure you could find a better price in town. Free bike rentals, and Gerry the owner, can give you loads of information... More

Gerry was more than helpful during our short stay in Granada. He gave unfiltered advise about the city, people & of course, the hotel. This was after we showed up at the hotel quite late in the evening. Of course we had to leave very early in the morning. When we went downstairs with our bags, he had a full... More

I'm quite confused about all these positive reviews of Casa del Agua. My boyfriend and I stopped by on our vacation through Nicaragua and found the rooms to be filthy and the swimming pool to be the size of a bathtub. This place also smelled of chemicals while the noise from the traffic outside was astounding. We had one quick... More

Thank you for your review. We do hope this response will be helpful in clearing up your confusion. Your boyfriend & you didn't "stop by" as you had a reservation or "committed stay", with us for 2 nights. We note from reading your profile that your favorite place to stay was at Tribal. Please note that their pool was constructed... More

Stayed at casa del agua for one night with my little brother. Gerald, the owner was very communicative prior to our arrival. Communal kitchen was great. Room was clean and we sprung for a/c which was nice. Wifi was acting up a little but seemed like a temporary problem that was being fixed. Gerald also helped us set up a... More
