This is a small hostel with only two private rooms and a dorm therefore it's relatively quite. We stayed in a private room. There is no AC but we were given extra an fan on request. Staff are lovely and friendly. Great court yard to chill in and large kitchen. Felt really safe and slept with the door open (mainly... More

This place was a life saver. We arrived in Granada with no place to stay (trying to be adventurous) not knowing Easter was such a big deal here. After 5.5 hours of searching we finally found La Casita! While it wasn't ideal for us (there is no glass on the window - which does allow for lots of air -... More

Good location and a nice place to stay for four or five nights. We enjoyed shopping at the market and cooking in the kitchen. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would recommend if you are looking for a quiet stay in Granada.

Rating is average of this place but I can definitely say that this is happily not a party place. They have a set 10pm quiet time which is really nice. Our room was a bit too hot.. the fan couldnt really do a proper job. It was a bit stuffy but very clean. Bathroom was shared and very clean. Only... More

Walked to the bearded monkey near by and walked straight out. This place was next door. The day staff were very friendly, and we enjoyed out stay. On the first night we had a different room and it was too hot to sleep. Luckily Grenada does lots of happy hours which helps with the sleeping. We moved to a different... More

My friend and I came here after seeing a rather gross and smelly room at a nearby hostel and I was delighted by how clean the room at La Casita was (especially the beds). The price was excellent too, especially for the most expensive city in the country. The bathrooms, kitchen and dining areas were very neat and tidy. It's... More

For the first time in years of international travel, I'd had issues with bedbugs at my last hostel in Leon and was very wary about it happening again. Two other hostels on this same street (both of which are in the guidebook) had been recently reviewed as having them, so I was really glad to have been referred to La... More

I have to agree with the last review before this one. La Casita owners, whom I met over the phone while I was staying there, think of their hostel as quiet because they don't have a television, a sound system, or a bar in their common area. They do, however, have a fridge, which guests can and do use to... More

We stayed here in Granada for three nights. Amazing city, lame hostel. No a/c (fans only), dirty, felt only moderately safe. The bathroom was NASTY too. Our room had a 'window,' no glass, just bars and a curtain that opened up into the courtyard. HORRIBLE thing was, right outside our window was where everyone smoked. Our room smelled terrible and...
