My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights as a splurge after doing a week of Spanish classes and a home stay. We were told about a special which included a suite, free drink, and a free 30 minute spa treatment per night for only $59 plus tax. We thought it was a great deal. Don't get me wrong,... More

Glad you enjoyed your stay, sorry about the perception of the massages that you and your boyfriend had. Both the therapists you had get consistently excellent reviews, and we have numerous Nicaraguan clients who specifically request these particular therapists. Had you asked them to modify their techniques in any way, I´m sure they would have been pleased to accommodate. Further,... More

Wow, it still was called Spa Granada when I just visited a couple of weeks ago. But they have a big chocolate museum, so the new name is not inappropriate. The stay was lovely, very much in harmony with the overall Granada experience. The room was large and spacious, with a creaky wooden floor and immensely tall ceiling - very... More

This is our third or forth trip to this hotel an we still love it. Location is great, close enough to walk most of Granada. Pool is great, massages are good enough, and they have good activities through the hotel. Come and have fun here and in Granada.

We came to Granada as part of our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. The driver Mauricio met us at the airport and was extremely helpful and gracious throughout the trip. The two younger ladies at the front desk -- I can't remember their names -- were also very accommodating. Centrally located, near banks and just a few blocks from... More

Contrary to your assertion that you tried to contact the hotel about the computer, we have absolutely no record of any communication from you - e mail or telephonic. Your extremely negative reaction seems to be based on your perception of my staff´s unwillingness to help. That perception is absolutely incorrect. When your computer was allegedly stolen, my staff did... More

I loved this hotel. It is an historic home that has been converted to a hotel. The rooms all seem to be different. I was originally given a room on the second floor but the door didn't latch property and kept popping open. I asked for and was given an even better room that had doors leading out to a... More

A really bad experience poisoned our stay at the very pretty hotel. We stayed for a week in Granada, and enjoyed a really spacious room. However, while helping my 7 year-old in their chocolate museum, I set my iPad down on the counter, and moments later it disappeared. I thought, "Oh well, shame on me!" There are signs posted in... Imagine being greeted with chocolate and being told that because you were staying 4 nights, you and your husband were entitled with free 1-hour body massages. What more can you want? This old world, beautiful and centrally located hotel had very nice staff, a lovely pool, a wonderful breakfast and yes, a free half-hour spa treatment for every night you... More

Definitely do the Chocolate Museum experience and make your own chocolate bar. Very fun and relaxing experience. The FREE breakfast is amazing. The food at the pool-side bar is amazing. Excellent prices for all rooms.

for the second time after my stay of last year, I spent a few nights at the Hotel Spa Granada, a great location in the heart of the city, and I found it consistently excellent. The room, the swimming pool, the overall charm of the place made my stay a very pleasant one. This time I especially appreciated the attention... More

Hotel Spa Granada touts itself to be at once a Colonial relic and an expression of contemporary art. It's Colonial bones are undeniable and charming, and some of the artistic touches are intriguing; but to say that either aspirations have been achieved would be a stretch. This can be seen, for example, in the selection of fixtures used in the... More
