My wife and I enjoy swimming and when we came to Granada for a month we discovered that the Chocolate Mansion had a large swimming pool where we could buy a monthly membership. From our first day of swimming until 10 days later the pool became increasingly dirtier until we finally decided to quit. Although they did give us a... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate class at Mansion de Chocolate. It is rare that our whole family can have so much fun and all learn something while sharing an activity together, but together with out three children (9, 7 and 3), my husband and I were surprised by the humor, edification and tasty fun we had at this class. Worth... More

We are a family of 4 that stayed at the Mansion de Chocolate for 3 nights in October. We loved the hotel & all it's little quirks!! We had very large, connecting rooms on the second floor which were very private. We had beautiful views of the city rooftops from our balcony & windows! The hotel itself is very interesting... More

We did the workshop as a family with three teens and it was brilliant! Informative, funny and Ishmael kept the teens on their toes by firing off questions. Tasted three types of hot choc and learnt alot about where choc comes from

I stayed at Chocolate Mansion for one night because I got to Granada a day early. Honestly, for the price ($85), I really wasn't impressed with the actual hotel. The price included a night's stay, breakfast buffet, access to pool, and 1/2 off any spa service. I saw a cockroach in my room within the first 15 minutes. I realize... More

This was a great place to visit. We stayed one night and most of a second day. Our room was upstairs so it was a bit out of the way of things which was great. We didn't have much foot traffic past our room and we had a nice little outdoor area to sit. The room was large and comfortable... More

Nice hotel, friendly staff, good location and beautiful pool area. Had some other stuff to offer including chocolate museum (small) and spa treatments, although we got stung with the "free" treatments when we paid through the nose for one that wasn't included in the deal but weren't informed of it. All round happy with hotel

Amazing rooms, staff, guests, food, pool, fast wifi. Close to everything but away from the noise. We would definitely stay here again. The staff were just incredible. The chocolate was delicious. Free breakfast made to order was excellent (waffles, eggs, and traditional Nicaraguan breakfast). :)

Rooms vary in size and conveniences. First time there we were on the lower section away from the pool and the room was rather small. Clean and nice but tight. The second year we were up stairs and the room was much bigger but we had issues with work being done in it and moved to another room and then... More

We had a very pleasant stay in Mansion de Chocolate. From the balcony we had a great view over the city. The pool is very nice, breakfast delicious and the staff very friendly. Our room was not giant but it was enough. There are chairs in the open hallway so you can always sit somewhere.
