This was the first hotel we stayed in, in Nicaragua and if you get a bit anxious like me when you first arrive in a new country this is the hotel for you to settle your nerves! The hotel is in a central location, big rooms, massive bathroom with hot water and very clean. There's a lovely pool with a... More

I stayed here 5 years ago when I was backpacking through Nicaragua as a splurge at the end of our trip and it was amazing. I was pleasently surpised this time around to find it just as great. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and it is a great price for what is inclueded. When I first came here... More

Thank you for your staying with us, and thank you for your review. We include a complimentary spa treatment with each night´s stay, and I´m glad you enjoyed it. You really understand what we´ve tried to create here - a hip boutique hotel in a beautifully restored colonial mansion. More

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and it was ok. The location is very central and quite. The breakfast is great. The pool area is fine. We stayed in a standard room and it was quit small and very dark as there was only a small window. The room was extremely hot and the air con was not powerful... More

Located in a huge old converted mansion, displaying local artists and incorporating the Choco Museo, this is a lovely central base for visitors to Granada. The hotel itself (which seems to have changed its name to Hotel Spa Granada on other sites?) is spacious, with several courtyards and pleasantly decorated rooms, which are clean and have nicely updated modern bathrooms.... Thank you for staying with us and glad you enjoyed your stay. I should note for others who may be reading your review that one spa treatment is included for free with each night´s stay at Mansion de Chocolate, making what we hope is an excellent value even better. More

I had the chocolate massage with a sugar scrub. My skin has been very soft even after two showers. The chocolate class was well worth the time, Ishmael was hilarious and knowledgable. I also had a chocolate iced drink that was very good. This has been my favorite activity thus far!

This hotel was amazing! The staff were so friendly and very helpful to us, going out of their way to make us comfortable. Our room was beautiful! So big, clean and luxurious. The pool was also very clean and relaxing. My only small complaint would be that my partner and I both booked the same spa treatment but when discussing... More

I stayed for a week recently and really had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly. Its location is just minutes from the park square...walking. There is 60 ft pool in a very tropical setting. Flor manages the pool area and serves exotic drinks, the food was excellent as well. She was very attentive and a pleasure to... More

Mansion de Chocolate is a small hotel located in the vivid city of Granada, Nicaragua. After my travel through Latin America,I can say it has been one of the best hotels I stayed in. The hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere and is perfect for when you want to calm down from your traveling or the busy street life in Granada.... More

This hotel is looking a little tired around the edges. Having said that I would stay here again when in Granada. The location is spot on, just 2 blocks from the Parque Central. Banks, restaurants, cafes & bars are all a short walk away. What really won us over was the staff, especially Tony, from the travel desk. No request... More

We had a wonderful time staying here. The breakfast is very good. For each night you stay you get a 30 minute massage in the spa here. My wife does not recommend the chocolate massage however I do recommend the 4 hand massage. The pool is clean and great to use during the hot afternoons/evenings. We did the chocolate bar... More
