We stayed 2 nights here in March. The front desk staff was super helpful arranging a couple of tours and giving instructions. The massages were hit or miss. We got two each and the first left a lot to be desired but the second two were good. The ladies in rooms 2 & 3 were best. Ask for them. The... More

This hotel is very beautiful and safe. There is a chocolate museum inside which I highly suggest taking the time to experience. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the grounds meander here and there with beautiful gardens and courtyards around every turn. The rooms however leave a little to be desired. The restrooms aren't very clean and the... More

The Hotel Spa Granada is a great place to relax and unwind. Its location is almost perfect (a couple of blocks from the Central Plaza). The entire hotel staff just wonderful. If you choose to stay here, an all-you-can eat breakfast is included, along with a daily 30 min. massage/treatment. I stayed there for two weeks and arranged to have... More

We loved the art in this place. The staff is very helpful. Our room was without windows, as we discovered is the case for many rooms here unless you want to pay a lot of money. Still that wasn't so important. Beware that there are frequent fluctuations of hot and cold water in the shower. The pool is great, for... More

We didn't realize when trying to book a room in Granada that this was during the Poets festival. This was the only hotel we were able to find on line. A little above our normal price range, we were none the less pleased with our choice. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. The... More

My boyfriend and I spent 3 nights at this hotel in February 2014. We happened upon it via a web search when we got to Nicaragua. We both came away loving our time spent here. It is conveniently located in the center of the city, close to the market square and many restaurants. It has a great atmosphere, a colonial... More

I was travelling alone and i was searching for a safe city to go. I decided to choose Granada as many of my friends suggested it. I discovered with a friend surfing on the web the Hotel Spa Granada. My first positive impression was completely confirmed when I arrived. A great location, near to the Calzada, where you have plenty... More

If you want colonial, this is the place. And it comes with a pool. Which brings me to my only complaint. Too many "visitors" (non-guests) allowed to use the pool and we were not able to get a lounge chair. Some were taking up more than one chair and spent their whole time sitting at the edge of the pool.... More

Spent three nights here the end of Jan 2014. The hotel has a lot of character and is tastefully decorated. We stayed in the room named Celio which is an upstairs room (no elevator so you must be able to navigate the stairway). The room was huge and had two semi-private balconies shared with the adjoining rooms. It had air-conditioning,... More

This review is long over due and I apologize for not writing it sooner. Hotel Spa Granada would eventually pave a stepping stone in making my stay enjoyable and memorable. I had the best time and the best experience of my life. The staff is very friendly and the spa services are excellent. I enjoyed the breakfast choices and the... More
