Our family of 4 stayed here and found Chris and his employees to be very helpful, kind, hardworking and genuine. Chris booked us with Vladamir for a 3 hour tour of the islets where we saw numerous unique birds, monkeys, plants and beautiful homes on some of the islands. This was a very enjoyable morning for us, they had new... More

Chris Allodi has what it takes to have a Guest House such as Miss Margrit's. Everything about Miss Margrit's was outstanding, from the initial entrance, the spacious rooms with A/C, a garden pool and great people to talk with from around the world. Staying there on our last night was a high point of our visit to Granada and Nicaragua.... More

Miss Margrit's was everything we hoped for and more; an oasis in the city with lovely rooms, comfy beds, and a wonderful home-like atmosphere. We have stayed in several places in Granada, and are so happy we took our tour guide's advice (David Rosales) when he encouraged us to try Miss Margrit's for our recent visit. The complimentary Trip Advisor... More

It's hard for me to write this review because I don't want this place to become so popular that the next time I try to book it it won't be available. Everything about this place was great. The owner was wonderful, the manager was delightful, the breakfast was delish, the rooms pristine and the grounds beautiful.

Chris and company at Miss Margrit's were wonderful! The place is gorgeous, clean and comfortable. The rooms are so spacious and well appointed. Our family of 6 spread out over 2 rooms and never felt cramped or on top of one another. Also many beautiful common areas, including the pool, where we could spread out and relax after the awesome... I've stayed in hundreds of hotels/guest houses and it's not often I'm awestruck by the buildings, but Miss Margrit's is an exception. The inside of the building has to be seen to be believed. So many bits of fine attention to detail in the beautiful colonial courtyard. The rooms are spacious and airy and the bed was large and comfy.... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights after seeing the excellent reviews on this site. We were so happy to find Chris and Miss Margrit's. Chris was great with communication before I booked and when we got there. The rooms are clean and the place is beautiful with lots of colonial charm. The bed was comfortable as a... More

We stayed here for 5 nights. We recorded an incredible service. From the street it doesn't look like much (especially as we arrived in the middle of the night) but as soon as the door is opened you enter the most beautiful colonial style courtyard. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Rooms were clean and each one unique. So tastefully decorated... More
