Traveling Nicaragua with a buddy, we stayed at Miss Margrit's for two nights in mid-June of this year. The owner, Chris, could not have been more hospitable or accommodating. The place is beautiful and comfortable, the garden, the kitchen and other common areas, including the little pool, are tastefully appointed and inviting. We had a rental car and Chris provided... I cannot begin to express what a wonderful time my husband and I had at Miss Margrit’s. Upon entering the unassuming doors, you immediately step into a colonial palace that is so tastefully decorated and appointed that you instantly know you are on vacation. Chris, the owner / manager, has made comfort and hospitality his top priorities. We stayed in... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Miss Margarit's - it quickly became one of our favorite spots in the world. Chris and his staff are outstanding. The guest house, grounds, and rooms are exceptional. Thank you Chris & staff for contributing so much to our excellent vacation in Nicaragua!

We travelled in Nicaragua for 3 weeks and this was the nicest place we stayed and the best value. Chris was out of town but he was so responsive to my millions of emails. We also were travelling with our kids and he gave us two rooms for the price of 1--it was so nice to be in a place... More

I spend a couple of nights at Miss Margrits in Granada. All the reviews written here are a 100% right! Chris makes you feel at home immediately and helps out with anything you need. The rooms are big and the beds incredibly comfortable. Next to that you wake up every morning with a very tasty breakfast freshly cooked by lovely... More

There is a reason that not one person has left a bad review. This B and B was so charming and had such good energy. It had a personal feeling, and a communal living situation with an inviting swimming pool area complete with wild flowers and coconut trees. The staff were so kind Marta was always smiling and Veronica would... More

I have been to Granada a bunch of times and usually stay in hotels. A friend recommended miss margits. The owner was super nice and accommodating. You are not going to find a nicer guy in Granada. The property was beautiful. Just a short walk to the center of town past a couple churches and historic park. Also there was... More

We were greeted at the airport by Miss Margrits driver, which was a welcome relief after a long flight. After a short and painless taxi ride, we arrived in Granada. We were immediately struck by how beautiful and serene the guest house is and the wonderful atmosphere. After been shown to our room, which was immaculately finished, (with everything you... More

Stayed for four days before Easter. Great hosting from Chris who sorted out our transport to and from and gave us lots of useful info. We used David for a day out who was informative and flexible. Great place.

My husband and I stayed at Miss Margrit's for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. The house is beautiful with wooden beams, tasteful furniture, fountains, comfy outdoor sitting areas, lush vegetation, and a dipping pool. It's very airy and cool, which is key for the hot and humid Granada weather. The owner/manager Chris is a gem. He will give... More
