Enjoyed 4 great days at Casa Silas B & B. Rob was full of great advice on places to visit and how to get there. We had a wonderful time and each day set off after a full cooked breakfast. Enjoyed the pool for a quick cool down and relaxed in the courtyard in the evenings. With just 2 rooms... More

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at Casa Silas. Rob is a great host. He is friendly and knowledable and can arrange activities to suit your needs and desires. We would recommend the carriage tour and a trip to Laguna de Apoyo. He is able to recommend restaurant options from street fair (definitely our choice and comfort level) to... More

Rob was a fantastic host, has fantastic recommendations for things to do, and cooks an amazing breakfast. The location was great, just a 2 minute walk from the market, 5 minutes from the park, 10 from the restaurants. It's a little more like a homestay than a Bed and Breakfast, but Rob is truly great company, and very easy to... More

Rob was such a gracious host. The room was spacious, with a big shower and Casa Silas is just two blocks from the bustling market area and a few more blocks from the park and main plaza of Grenada. Staying at Casa Silas was more like being a guest a friend's house than staying in a hotel. You can walk... More

Granada was my first stop in Nicaragua, and Rob and Claudia made everything fantastic. They offer fantastic recommendations on what to see and do, how to get there, and local insights. From volcanoes to small towns, from transportation to food, they are incredibly knowledgeable. They spend a tremendous amount of time with each guest (even before you get there) providing... More

We loved this accommodation. Claudia and Rob are great hosts, gracious and seemed to enjoy sharing their home. They were accommodating to our travel needs and always helpful with arrangements and information. There are only two rooms (we actually were in both because we stayed here twice during our trip). The rooms are large and have a nice colonial feel.... More

My friend and I enjoyed our stay in Granada. Rob and Claudia are very good host. The breakfast is good. The location is great close to the major attractions in the city. We stayed for 2 nights, after 3 days we got hold of Rob and came back and stayed one more night due to a change of our plan.... More

My husband and I stayed at Casa Silas for 10 days while on our honeymoon in Nicaragua. Our stay with Rob and Claudia was perfect in every way. Prior to our arrival, Rob was very responsive to questions we had sent through email. Our flight into Managua was scheduled to arrive at 10pm, and Rob was able to set up... More

This casa was exactly as advertised. Rob helped me with directions on arrival to my destination. The casa is beautiful with an open courtyard & pool. Rob & his esposa were wonderful. Breakfast was fabulous. They provided a tour guide with horse drawn carriage for a city tour that was great. Carmen has been giving tours of Granada for 25... More

A small but spacious home with great breakfast and friendly, knowledgable owners. The bed had a great mattress and the room had A/C. We used the pool numerous time to cool down and relax. They knew the area, the knew the good restaurants, and they knew and supported a growing Nicaraguan music scene. It was a pleasure and we will... More
