A wonderful B&B. An awesome Casa Silas breakfast started our days off in Granada. It's in an ideal location. We walked everywhere, and felt very safe. Fabulous places to eat, all within walking distance. The pool in the court yard welcomed us home at the end of a hot day in the market. Having internet access, air conditioning in the... more

Let me preface this review by stating that I am typically not a B&B person. Some people love them, I don't. I usually avoid them at all costs, however, I cannot say enough positive things about Casa Silas and it's owners, Rob and Janik. I have already made plans for a return stay with other family members. The excellent service... more

Arrived at the B&B and imediately we felt right at home. Rooms were roomy and refreshing with AC and Hot water for showers. The price cannot be beat for the accomodations. The pool was just great for my 2 young girls they played for hours. Everything in town is within walking distance from the B&B. The food was also great... more

I recently spent 2 nights at Casa Silas in Granada. This sweet, charming blue house is conveniently located, beautiful (thanks in part by great murals painted by Rob, and clearly great taste), clean, comfortable and is a great home base when exploring Granada . Rooms are designed around a pool, with a hammock and a sitting area which is great... more

We just spent 18 days in Nicaragua and 11 nights were spent in this delightful Bed & Breakfast. Set in the heart of Granada it was a real treat to be part of the local community. Rob and Janik have renovated a lovely colonial home complete with bedrooms off the center pool and garden. We spent many relaxing hours laying... more

What a nice and restfull place after visiting the city of Granada. Its located in the center but a tranquil place. The pool is a really nice and welcome refresher! Janik serves the best breakfast of the whole of Nicaragua and is always there for you. The rooms are spacious, cool and stylish with beautiful wallpaintings drawn bij Rob who... more

Casa Silas is a charming B&B that I had the pleasure of stumbling upon. The hosts Janik & Rob are extremely accommodating and helpful. Breakfasts are delicious and revile any hotel stays! This B&B is a little oasis in the city with a fabulous pool in the courtyard and hammock to lounge in after a day of exploring the city.... more

I recently returned from a stay at Casa Silas. It is my new home away from home. I am an adoption attorney and travel to Nicaragua quite frequently. I found the accommodations at Casa Silas very comfortable with that home away from home feel. Casa Silas has a very intimate atmosphere and the owners are always there to help you... more

I spent four nights at lovely Casa Silas at a rate of $40 per night. Casa SIlas is owned by Janik and Rob, a friendly Canadian couple who go out of their way to make you feel at home and help you out with any needs. Their happy dog Silas acts as night watchman. Janik makes phenomenal breakfasts (included in... more

We stayed at this lovely b&b and were so thrilled with the accommodations. Spotless! The cleanliness and comfort was such a relief to us as we've been disappointed before on various getaways and everything here is new, fresh and immaculate. The hosts Janik and Rob are originally from Canada and have retired here. They are so knowledgeable about the best... more
