I stayed at La Libertad for about four nights in November of 2014. This place isn't bad, but it just isn't that good either. I'll start with the stuff I didn't like that much: Wifi was so slow it was painful. I travel-blog a bit and found the internet unusably slow. Friends of mine that write/post decided to move hostels... More

Had the most disgusting experience at this dirty hostel. The owner was not owner rude and gross to start with but he came into our private room without knocking and touched me! There was no respect here and it is merely a cheap hostel. I'd steer clear of somewhere that tries to get away with this kind of stuff. If... More

we stayed here on two separate occasions and were very happy both times. The first time we stayed in the dorm and found it very clean and comfortable. The room was really quiet by like 11pm despite there being 15+ people in the room. Wifi worked well as well as lots of comfy places to relax. Second time we stayed... More

This place is average at best. The dorms are massive, the prices are relatively cheep 6$ per person or private rooms without bathrooms between 12$ and 15$. With such a high volume of guests the kitchen is nearly always dirty, except right after cleaning first thing in the morning. Its not the most equip either but its cookable. Its a... More

I stayed for two nights at la libertad and have an overall good impression of it. When considering the details I have to admit that the shower and kitchen definitely need a renovation. The bathroom never looked clean so I just kept my flipflops on while taking a shower. The kitchen was really badly equiped and there are no spices... More

I stayed in La Libertad for one night, it was one of the few places that still had space. I could not really find rest, because it was noisy until 1 in the morning, and at some point during the night a great group arrived and made a lot of noise too - it is of course not the hostels... More

$10 per night, double with shared bathroom, 24 October-3 November & 14-18 November 2014 Vibe: Creative, quirky and cool. Location: Located in what is essentially Granada's 'backpacker alley', La Libertad is an easy 15 minute walk from the main bus station, a five minute walk to the main square and 10 minute walk to the local nightlife – all in... + Quiet and relaxing place. + Beautifully designed. + awesome friendly and helpful staff! !! + Great location at the center. + nice private rooms. + Delicious breakfast in the restaurant (and not expensive) - no way to close the windows and no net on it, so you're exposed to mosquitoes at night and noise in the morning (though it's... Best place in Granada, good location near of everything, night life, restaurants, culture, etc. Dorms spacious and cheap rates. Don't miss the salsa nights at La Libertad, and don't forget to ask for the hambuerguers!!

16 years old little hooligans taking care of the hostel at night don't have sense, they were really aggressive when we ask to put the music down at midnight( they were listening eminem and watching Pokemon). The bed looks clean until 2 am when bedbugs make a party with our blood. After a lot of efforts we had our money... More
