If you like all-night noise, this is your place. Though the beach is a few blocks away, all-night beach partiers sporting overpowered boom stereos turned this idyllic place into a veritable Noise Hell. We went to Koh Chang seeking relative peace and quiet. However, after 3 days of chronically interrupted sleep, we quit the place. Unless the island authorities and... more

I arrived at the Oasis in the late afternoon. It appeared deserted. I had to call out to make contact when finally a young man responded. I found it very odd that he didn't speak English and was to discover during my stay there no else did either. They had a well written website in English. I was shown to... more

These bungalows and this resort are quite the find at the top of the hill. We arrived in the evening around sunset to the beautiful restaurant and reception and were greeted by the owners who are some of the nicest people you would ever meet traveling so far away, they welcomed us in, like we were old friends staying at... more

Depends on what you look for. If you usually stay in hotels, don't go. The bungalows didn't have any facilities except an outdoor toilet with cold water. The bungalows were cold, and me and my friend only got one blanket to share. We were freezing!!! And all little jungle bugs and animals are able to get into the bungalows. Our... more

After 5 nights at Remark Puzi Huts in Bang Bao we were eager to have a change of scenery. So we headed to the Oasis at Lonely Beach. We were lucky enough to see some monkeys from our balcony as huts join the jungle at the rear. The owners are very accommodating and it's much quieter than the Treehouse on... more

We spent the last night of our Thai holiday at Oasis. It was by far the best budget accomodation of the trip. We spent our first three nights on Ko chang at the Tree House down the road and after 3 nights of been kept awake by pounding music, people and rock hard beds we left in search of some... more

Turned up at night and all of lonely beach was booked out, rocked into Oasis and although they were full they offered to setup a tent in the restaurant area since we had no where else to go. Ended up staying a few days, the huts are basic (as most are) but gorgeous with tastefull attention to detail, they are... more

I didn't have a booking, but i suggest you do. They took me in with a smile and gave me a great hut.... my first ever.... I stayed in others huts though-out my trip and nothing compare's to theirs. The beds were comfy, the nets were new ,and the views were prefect . The food was wonderful. And the sound... more

After staying at other bungalows on Koh Chang for a few days, I moved to the Oasis bungalows and was really impressed. Bungalows costed between 250THB-300THB The bungalows were all built within the last year, and they are really beautiful and sturdy. The beds are also new, comfortable matresses raised on a wooden platform, and they provide clean mosquito nets... more

The Oasis resort is a great place to stay around the Lonely Beach in Thailand. Inexpensive, clean bungalow with private baths and good service. Great view of the sunset about 10 minute walk 2 the beach. ---- more
