Husband and I and 4 friends just returned from the aana resort in mid november. it was amazing. the hotel is not directly on the beach (we didn't care about that.....it makes for a more quiet vacation). the friendly staff is willing to canoe you to the hotels private beach anytime...or you can kayak yourself. there is a great bar... more

Book a Villa. You will not regret it. Get a view of the water. Go to the spa. This place was amazing. A perfect weekend. This resort is a classic case of misleading advertising, and misrepresentation of facilities. My kids still bear the scars of the swimming pool with its sharp rought hewn stone lining.
