On the positive side - clean facilities, lovely interiors, beautiful beach, very friendly staff. Especially appreciated the 50m swimming pool, the very beautiful gardens and the breakfast buffet (lots of choice and good quality, too). Stayed there at new year's eve and dinner buffet was outstanding. Perfect holiday. They bring chocolate and orchid flovers to the room every day. Isn't... More

Just returned from the Amari in Koh Chang, travelling with wife and 3 kids. This place is as good as it gets. Top quality design and superb attention to detail. Breakfast buffet very comprehensive and something for everyone. The three pools were perfect for kids of all ages, and the main pool was olympic sized, and probably the nicest pool... More

Stayed here for 6 nights in the peak New Year season. The rooms are spacious and well decorated with great bathrooms. Only let down was the tiny old style TV. (not much point having a DVD player in the room if you need binoculars to see the tellie). We booked a room with a sea view but on arriving we... More

Paying what we did for this place, it felt more like a dorm than a luxury hotel. The pool was not functioning, there were no activities organised, the receptionists were rude! The hotel room was clean but we would have expected a better view in such a serene island!

I booked this Hotel whilst on Koh Chang through Bookings.com. I think i paid about US$160 a night. For this you get a room with a view of a back canal and some mountains in the distance, not the view of the beautiful coastline. For this price you expect a lot, but you don't get too much. To be picky,... More

Thank you for your review. After investigation, it appears that on that evening, due to a sudden short shower, this outdoor buffet had to be interrupted and the items moved indoor. This was indeed a small buffet, but with definitely much more than five items to choose from, including a live pasta station. Guests who saw the buffet just after... More

This was a lovely hotel on a very sweet and interesting island. The hotel has many rooms, and is well designed. We were collected from Trat Airport by the hotel mini-bus, and friendly driver. He furnished us with cold water, and cold towels for the ferry and journey to the hotel. Upon arrival we were given a refreshing (but not... More

Stayed here for 5 nights with our friends and had a lovely time. Hotel and rooms very clean, Spa facilities great. The swimming pool is one of the nicest I have ever experienced and trust me the photos of this hotel do not do it justice, it really is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and eager to please. Stayed for 4 nights based on being top of TA. Went for relaxation at the end of a busy trip through Vietnam & Cambodia, lived up to everything I needed it to. The staff are fantastic, very courteous & helpful. I had a pool/seafacing room which was large & well appointed. Bed could be a little softer & I had... More
