We have been staying there at least four times between the years of 2005-2013. Actually not too much changed. Maybe just few more bungalows but staff is not too helpful. If you ask for two or three times then you get what you need. I wouldn`t say they are not friendly but they are just lazy. The nature with the... More

We stayed there for 6 nights. At the reception when we arrived they examined my booking paper and said the bungalow would cost less than expected which was a good thing. I like the place - lots of greenery, nice beach but it is a bit secluded so you have to bear it is mind when booking. Taxi to the... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in January 2014 ( Hillside bangalow ) We didn't have a problem climbing up many stairs to our room. The view from our room is beautiful and 2 minutes from the beautiful beach. The only weird thing in our room is the design of the bathroom. There's no towel hanger in... More

We booked for 4 nights (31st new year included...) bad story, a shame! We asked for safety box in our rooms. These last are not secret code close but with a simple lock (also provided by the reception). They give you 2 keys of the padlock on the existing 3. Which is justified: in case we lost our keys, or... More

Room serviced at 5pm with a bit of a lick. Simple dinner order took 2 calls to staff. Arrived 1 hour after order. Rooms basic. Not a hook nor towel rack in sight. No jug to boil water. However ac was good. Tv reception good on an old set. Beach is nice with clean water at the time of visit.... More

This resort has a bad location, it is quite isolated. It's not done to reach the centre of Lonely Beach by foot. A scooter or taxi is needed! We booked a 4 persons Viman Buri for 5 nights. What we got is a 2 persons bungalow with an extra matras. At the ceiling above our bed was fungus as wel... More

The rooms are alright and what you expect of the price, i paid about 450 B per Night. Ive got uppgraded from a small to a large house because lack of organization in their bookings. We didn't buy any breakfast but still they offered us the buffe, why we don't know and I'm afraid to ask. The people who work... More

I just left Siam Bay Resort, it is located in a fantastic place, beautiful beach and peacefull. It is located a bit far away from any town, which is what I wanted. Scooter can be rented for 200 baht/24hours. Bad things: 1. It is expensive, because the bungalow was a bit old 2. Food, including breakfast, is the worst I... More

I just came from here about 5 minutes ago.....we had arrived at koh Chang and was looking for a decent beachfront and was scouting the area.... I am Indian and very tanned... I saw a few white kids walking and I know they did not live there because we currently share the same hotel. Anyways, when my bf and I... More

We started our stay on Ko Chang in a bungalow far away from the beach. It was decent, but we decided to rent a scooter on day 2 and check out some new places to stay on the beach. Most of the nice ones were too much for us; 5000-7000/night. No thanks! We found Siam Bay and right away fell... More

Siam Bay Resort is a last quiet family resort on Koh Chang's beautiful west coast.
