We were very grateful to arrive at the hotel after a car trip from Mandalay and a tour of the lovely town and botanic gardens. The hotel is quite unique looking and our bungalow was very nicely appointed. We ate out and planned to have a nightcap around the bar before we turned in. It was freezing cold in the... More

We stayed two nights at the hotel and must say, while the bungalows are beautiful and all you really need for a couple of nights in the fresh mountain air (at least, compared to other places you'll probably visit in Myanmar); what made this stay amazing was the general manager of the hotel. He is the most kind man, who... More

The hotel is beautifully set out with individual cabin style apartments in a convenient part of the city. The quality of the decor was quite a surprise as we weren't expecting rooms so nice. The one disappointing feature was the quality of the breakfast. The food in the morning is primarily aimed at Asian guests and the western option was... More

We had a fantastic 2 nights here -- the small town is truly charming and gave us a great contrast to the more bustling Mandalay and Yangon. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind during our entire stay. We rented a motorcycle for the day (super convenient - available right at the hotel) and enjoyed exploring the area. Also we... The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is learning (I was told "they aren't professionals: just learning). However, they made everything ready and responded promptly to requests. The surroundings are beautiful and restful. Rooms are arranged in bungalows that are duplexes and lead to a lovely koi pond. Trees surround the perimeter of the grounds. The fireplaces lend a... The hotel is conveniently located if guests are interested in going to the botanical garden. It is quiet and peaceful. The room is spacious but it seems to lost as there is not much furnishing. The staff are nice and friendly enough but they didn't seem to have the initiative or capability to help guests. My husband ordered some ice... More

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel in mid- December. The rooms were large and very comfortable with a lovely outlook (we were on the top road at the back of the complex). The location is good - an easy walk to the botanical gardens and a longer, but pleasant walk or carriage ride in to the township area. The... More

This hotel is near to botanical garden. Entrance to the garden is about 2 km south of the hotel. But you can exit at the north gate which can be found at the view tower. Following the north side road of the garden will lead to the hotel. Hotel itself is rather new and well maintained. Staffs are friendly. Only... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very large and clean with good facilities, bathroom and wet room plus dressing room, very large comfortable bed and the room which was on the left at the bottom overlooking the clock tower was very quiet at all times. Traffic was not a problem and golf buggies were available if your room... More

Pyin Oo Lwin is a must to visit for the calm, peaceful, coolness and this hotel reflects that atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with a large bathroom and wardrobe/dressing room. Each bungalow is divided into two rooms but the noise insulation is very poor. I could hear every sound from next door and some of them were... More
