Drove from Dhanaulti to Rishikesh and stopped at this resort on way to Shivpuri. Took a room to lie down and stretch from a tiring drive. Great quality room. A quick swim in the pool really refreshed me up for the next stretch of drive. Food was aplenty and well cooked. Will definitely spend a night on the next trip.

the hotel was arranged by Delhi tour and travel and was defined as an excellent hotel. However the pool was empty and the spa was closed and not maintained at the outside. The room was poor, airco was hanging above the headside of the bed, behind a curtain and was blowing you out the bed when curtain was open; no... More

i stayed in Narayana resort with my colleagues on our river rafting trip, the location of the resort is very good with a scenic view of Himalayas, Its a budget resort with all the facilities and have a nice swimming pool. Resort has beautiful greenery and garden- a natural ambiance is created there. Food was not upto the expectations. It... More

Towards the close of our 12 day trip from Mumbai to Vaishnodevi to Nainital to Hardwar and Rishikesh we stayed for two nights at this resort on April 22nd and 23rd, 2013. The booking was done by GeTS Holdays of Delhi and not surprisingly, corners were cut in making this booking. The hotel grounds are well maintained and the swimming... More

Lush garden nestled in the foothills of the Himalayans, cool mountain breezes and serenity amidst the heat, dust and noise just outside the property gates. This oasis of calm in Tapovan a little north of Luxman Jhula in Rishikesh, was home for six days. The gardens are lovingly maintained without the use of noisy machinery and are absolutely immacute. The... More

I have stayed at this hotel before my trip in December 2013. I was really disappointed at the way the place has been allowed to 'decay'. It seems that little maintenance gets done especially during the off season. The location is fantastic as you can easily take to the road on feet and reach the wonderful sites around Rishikesh. Rishikesh... More

To be fair, perhaps the cottages are better but they were fully booked. We booked a standard room which was sub-standard by any minimal hygienic expectation - dirty sheets and towels, cockroaches and crickets in the room, noisy ceiling fan, moldy shower curtain, filthy bath and toilet - we checked out after the first night although we'd booked two nights.... Tucked away in the foothills on the outskirts of Rishikesh are double storyed cottages in lush green surroundings. The Narayana Resort and Spa is on the main road so one doesnt have to branch off and waste time locating it. There is a drive-in with palms and bamboo on either side so one moves in away from the noise of... More

Rooms are far from ideal, but good enough by Indian standards. The strongest things are 1. location. It is good for travelers who look for calm and quitness which very hard to find in Rishikesh with all that horns. But hotel location is quite far from main things - bridges and ashrams. So if you're looking for boiling noisy life... More
