There are few experiences that stay with you long after the moments have passed. Our trip to rishikesh and stay at Himalayan Hideaway Lodge is one of those experiences. The beautiful setting of the lodge, quaint rooms, amazing view of the ganga, hospitality of a very friendly staff and many such things made this trip memorable. A special thanks to... More

We stayed for a total of 3 nights. The overall stay, the dinner at the camp under the moonlight, food, service, staff was all par excellence! Our next visit shall definitely be in cooler climates (traveled end-May; 40 C+!!).

We were there end April , looking for a quiet relaxed break. Yes , we did get the quiet ,but in fact a bit too much of It! ! The location is nice no doubt ,but nothing else. We were the only ones at the hotel other than the staff, who tried hard but seemed disinterested. Hardly any of then... More

Stayed for two nights on our rafting trip! Lovely place - well kept rooms / cottages. Decent food - could have been better (taste and variety), staff was very helpful and courteous. It has beautiful view of the Ganges and a lovely reading room! We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting a bit of serene luxury.... More

Thank you for your review. We are in the throes of organizng our website better. We will make it a point to mention the rooms at different levels. Our sister concern Himalayan River Runners has the largest beach camp on that 35kms stretch though our Lodge does have a small private beach which is a steep walk. We are constantly... More

We loved our experience at the tree of life Himalayan hideaway so much we stayed several times during our 3 months in Rishikesh! It is so peaceful and serene, especially down on their private beach on the River Ganges. This is the perfect place to bask in Mother Nature, meditate and connect with your inner self. I felt at home... More

Dear SharonCalvert, Many thanks for your generous review. I think you have captured the essence of our Lodge with your words. Though it is important for me to add here for the sake of others who might read this review that the Lodge is located 19 kms outside of Rishikesh. Not quite in Rishikesh although if you've stayed in Rishikesh... More

My partner and I were thrilled to be assigned to a cottage that gave us a brilliant view of the Holy Ganga. The only sounds were birdsong and the river, 100 meters below. The amenities in the bathroom were terrific and we hated to leave. The meals were delicious and service was great...leisurely but not lazy...and we'd have gladly added... More

We really enjoyed the private beach space next to the river, such am inspiring place filled with different birds and butterflies, one for mature lovers. The rooms had heaters which was a... More
