Hi. Stayed there for 2 nights in 2009. Awesome location in the laps of the ganges. A short trek and a boat ride takes you to this paradise. We loved the food cooked based on the local produce. No air conditioning when we visited, I guess there is no need most year round. Recommend highly.

I have recently returned from Anandlok where I stayed for 6 days with a friend. The adventure begins when one arrives on the main road and has to clamber down rocks and take a boat across the Ganges and then climb a path up to the Hotel which is perched above the Ganges. Everywhere there are views of mountains and... More

I stay here for 1 night in October 2011 whilst in Rishikesh. It is very quiet, clean and scenic with nice views of the mountains and lots of greenery. There was only a Russian couple when i was there. The price includes 3 meals a day. Food is okay ; quite a lot. There is only a porter to help you carry... More

it is a place that is to yourself with ample time to introspect and spend time with familiy, perched on a hill top and the ganges below as a private beach, open meadows , no civilisation to talk to, organic food, good service and most friendly owners

The resort, situated amid lush green forests and mountains, is probably the best way to spend one's weekend. But if this translates into a resort that only has forests and mountains, it is probably not for you. I went there with my husband and a toddler and enjoyed myself. Day one was spent watching the breathtaking view from the room,... More

I spent three weeks at Anand Lok and had a wonderful time. It already started how to get there - Anand Lok is only accessible by boat, crossing the Ganges, as there are no roads on this side of the river. After a short walk up the hill you enter the beautiful gardens of Ananad Lok, with the cabins and... More

The place is a heaven on earth. It is so picturesque, divine and a peaceful resort. The best part is that it is away from the hustle and bustle of rishikesh nestled in the base of mountains. After driving 22 kms further from Rishikesh, one has to take a boat ride to cross the river and reach across to this... More
