Dorothee and her staff were enthusiastically welcoming and truly caring of our needs. The Champagne Room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and had a wonderful bathtub for two. Home made breakfasts carefully prepared by Dorothee were something to look forward to. We enjoyed our days driving on to the beach from Chincoteague to Assateague Island and then returning to... My husband and I stayed in the sandpiper room for our anniversary. The garden and the sea is a fantastic B&B. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. Dorothy our innkeeper was gracious, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome. The food was delicious, homemade, and plentiful. Homemade yogurt, fruit, eggs Benedict, were just a few... More

The Garden and Sea Inn has many good qualities, especially the quiet location (although still accessible to several attractions, including Chincoteague and Assateague Islands, Bloxom Winery, and other quaint Eastern Shore towns). The innkeepers and staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the common living room area is well-stocked with Port wine, baked goods and other snacks, and a variety... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us! We are happy to hear, that you enjoyed your time here on the Eastern shore and loved our location central to everything in the Shore! Many of our guests used to stay on Chincoteague Island, but now stay with us for that exact reason. It takes a lot... More

I highly recommend the Garden and Sea Inn, especially for travelers with dogs. The accommodations and people were lovely. They took wonderful car of me and my elderly dog, even letting him out while I was touring.

My wife and I stayed overnight at this charming bed and breakfast before going to Chincoteague Island. The room(Merlot) was inviting, with its comfy king bed and a nice whirlpool bath. The inn is tucked away from highway 13 and was quiet. The pool was inviting but we didn't use it. Breakfast in the morning was good but not up... More

My husband and I were visiting friends on the Eastern Shore and stayed her for a week. During that time, he was diagnosed with pneumonia and was very sick. Dorothy and her staff were incredibly kind and caring. The surroundings were peaceful and restful aside from being well kept and beautiful. We have never stayed at a more beautiful place.... More

We had a wonderful stay here....it was great being able to take our dog on a vacation. The breakfasts were very well prepared with great attention paid to detail. The location is wonderful to get to Chincoteague and Assateague. All the recommendations for dog friendly activities -- beach, boat, restaurants are spot on! We had a great time in Berlin... More

My wife and I loved our stay here. Thomas and Doro are very gracious hosts and the breakfasts are to die for! Our dog also had a great time and loved the boat trip. The room was comfy and spacious and the pool very relaxing.

We picked this B&B because it was pet friendly. It was truly the most friendly B&B I have ever stayed in. Despite the fact that the dog was with us we all were made to feel welcome. The rooms were gorgeous. The breakfasts were delicious. The owners were friendly and knowledgeable about the location. It was such a relaxing weekend!... More

We booked the Shiraz suite several month ahead as we were bringing our dog and this suite comes with a fenced yard. (A prior review indicated that the fence might not be high enough for a large dog, but we thought it was perfect for our yellow lab.) The entire property is so attractive and well cared for. It is...
