This is a great hotel right on the water. A friend and I stayed in one of the Junior suites and the room was lovely! Super comfortable beds, ample space, private terrace and the feel of the ocean breeze at night. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly nice and accomodating. The breakfast on the terrace was excellent and one night... More

This hotel commands one of the best spots overlooking the beautiful lagoon. The rooms are comfortable with basic en suite facilities but maybe a bit tired around the edges! The gardens are an abundance of colour and lead you from the rooms to the main hotel reception/dining room to a lovely large terrace overlooking the water. The food was very... More

My husband and I have just spent 4 nights at this lovely hotel. Our room was the newly refurbished room at the back tier. It was beautifully appointed and so clean. Housekeeping was some of the best I've seen in Morocco. The staff in entirety were so friendly and helpful throughout. The place was made more enchanting by the beautiful... More

First of all, beware the Trip Advisor hotel rankings for Oualidia. La Sultana is streets ahead of all the others but with top London prices. L'Hippocampe is the only other hotel worth considering (except possibly L'Issa Blanca) and we've tried them all. The rooms range around the most beautiful gardens: some have been recently upgraded and some are old-fashioned and... More

L'Hippocampe is situated right by the shore. Here is a beautiful garden and a spacious terrace with a good ocean view. You can have a swim in the lagune down some steps from the terrace or use the swimmingpool. But - their restaurant is just on the paper. Just a very few things on the meny was available for ordering.... More

This is a local Moroccan destination in the summer and I'm sure it gets busy, but in Oct it was perfect. Endless beaches, interesting lagoon and birds, boat trips and surfing. Hotel reminded me of a holiday camp but very good quality and the view from our room was spectacular. Food was simple and basic , oyster are of course... More

Before I write, I must say I was really in two minds about how I should post this note because we did have a great couple of days and the view and setting was stunning and the staff were lovely. .. But, you don't mind one or two Fawlty moments but there were just a few more than you'd really... More

Stayed here for two nights and had a lovely time. The view is absolutely magnificent. As noted elsewhere, the rooms are simple but ours was clean and comfortable. (No wifi in the room, however, although it appears there was wifi in the lobby.) Service was pleasant and helpful. Breakfasts were simple but tasty (breads and pastries) and fish dishes for... More

This is a relaxed hotel with relaxed staff making for a comfortable environment to sit back and take it easy in an amazing environment. The food was actually very good (in particular the locally caugh Moules), the rooms are basic but clean and there is plenty to do. If you want luxury and having your every whim catered to, this... A beautiful hotel greatly situated in front of the lagoon: the scenery is just magical. The garden is gorgeous and the rooms well decorated. We were however a bit disapointed by the food, not bad but does not equal the gorgeous scenery, which is a real pity. Breakfast was also not really something to remember. The staff was very helpful... More
