What a most unusual hotel!! It's fairly new, has very large, comfortable rooms and has a very grand looking foyer. The beds are typical Moroccan style (hard). There were very few guests being low season and Ramadan and it had a kind of hotel from "The Shining" feel to it (without mad Jack!). The staff were very friendly and the... More

We stopped there on our way to the desert as part of our tour. The hotels in our tour had been amazing in all ways but Taddart was very disappointing. The only good thing is that it's a big hotel, very spacious. We were their only guests for the night but there was many people, after we learned it was... More

This is a funny Hotel very out of place as it feels like it should be in Texas. The rooms were large and facilities were fine. No English on the TV channels and aircon had the power switch off and was so high on the wall that you couldn't reach it to turn it on so it was hot overnight.... More

The hotel gave a splendid impression on arrival. But the rest of the hotel is not as good as it looks at first: furniture is not that stable in room/bar/hotel, broken floor tiles are covered by (beautiful) carpets. Restaurant only allowed buffet at night, not a la carte. Food was ok, but not very good. Overall a fine stopover hotel,... More

This is only for the dining room as we were en route. The place is large, convenient with clean facilities. Our driver stopped here as he mentioned there was not a lot around and yes it was crowded with travellers. We were there for lunch. The dining room is huge to accommodate buses. We opted for the buffet but should... More

I'm a budget traveller and expect what I pay for. For the first time ever I went back to reception and asked for another room. The bathroom had a terrible sewer pong then 'crept' into the chamber. There was still a whiff around in the new room a few doors away. There is clearly a septic problem somewhere in the... More

To say it is spacious is a gross understatement. This hotel is huge but has not lost the genuine feel of Moroccan hospitality. Rooms clean and staff friendly as one hopes to have, but often does not get, in a large hotel. The evening meal is a la carte or buffet depending how full the place is; both have been... More

Travelling from Fes to Merzouga is long and tiring so if you have the time for an overnight stopover, then Midelt is approximately halfway. You can’t miss the enormous ediface of Taddart Hotel as you approach Midelt. The hotel caters for a great many tourism companies who stop here enroute in both directions to use the bathroom facilities, to enjoy... More

We, like many travelers, stayed here one night to break up the trip from Fes to Merzouga and were pleasantly surprised as most reviews for this area were on the negative side. All the hotels in this area are enormous and it is hard to believe that they all fill up. Given the huge size you tend to feel a... More

We stopped here for a night, travelling from Fez to Merzouga by end of December. We particularly appreciated that the room was heated by our arrival. Bathroom clean. Dinner and breakfast nothing special.
