My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in April 2015. We found the accommodation very basic (for the price), and the food options poor (the buffet was ridiculously overpriced and not very nice). It is not close to anywhere, so you cannot look for alternative restaurants elsewhere. The service was ok, nothing amazing - and the... More

I was in room 311 which was beautiful, clean and spacious with patio, aircon, TV, good wifi, plenty closet space and huge shower with rainfall shower head. The hotel seems to have a number of swimming pools and as a result the pool at my block was quiet throughout my stay. A big breakfast buffet was served at the main... More

Awesome setting - particularly when seated at the far end at La Madrague Restaurant - where one faces the unmatched Tamarin Bay that perks you up with a breath of constant sea-breeze. Warm welcome from the staff - paying attention to details - and we have been well guided through an elaborated menu. Authentic food and flavours that would definitely... More

I stayed at the hotel for 3 days and all in all it was not as the video and website displayed it. The room lacked a certain "wow" feeling and was very small and old style. The activities were a big dissappointment since access to them was hard to get. The hotel could offer more activities. Most of the time... More

Wonderful holiday, hotel excellent with superb ambience. Restaurant awesome with amazing food, plenty of choice and faultless service. Staffs attention to detail and welcoming attitude never wavered during our stay. Only criticism is that on final day a couple with a young child arrived in adjoining room, the child was very noisy in and around the hotel which spoilt the... More

Tamarina Boutique hotel is in a fabulous setting on West Coast of Mauritius. We were invited there for Dinner. Our friends said to meet us in the Restaurant. We drove our hire car up to the gate, the guard came out and asked why we were there and our name. He then said we must park back up the road.... More

The GOOD Restaurant overlooks the Tamarin bay. Nice spot for surfers when there are waves. There are 2 guitar players /singers that will sing and play on guitar you favourite songs at dinner time. Very good singers. The BAD Got a bad service for breakfast where my wife asked for a table for 3 but not in the sun, well,... More

The location of the Tamarina is wonderful, right on a bay, as opposed to a beach, and is, to my eyes, far more attractive than a strip of beach in front of a resort. You can walk to the village of Tamarin in 10-15 minutes, and to the Tamarin Hotel also. Many people who live locally come onto the beach,... More
