This was our first stay at a B&B. We had a great first experience. We had wonderful service and were greeted by the owner. Our room was huge (Kensington) 2nd floor with a beautiful view of the fountain out front and the mountains. The Inn sits right next to the road but we did not hear road noises and was... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in July 2015. Got a nice deal through Groupon and decided to get away from the city life for a bit. Drive: Quite a long drive (about 8 hrs) from NYC. Once you get out of Interstates and into to country roads, it becomes brilliant. Driving through to the hiking trails has green, lonely... More

The Mark Addy is a jewel of a Bed & Breakfast, nestled in the beautiful wine country of southern Virginia. It's located off of Rte 151, in the most pristine landscape you could imagine. i suggest getting a room with a balcony so that you can gaze the multitude of stars at night. The staff is graciously accommodating and warm,... More

My wife and I enjoyed ourselves at this charming bed and breakfast. The location is perfect for a quiet getaway, but still close to a variety of restaurants and a nice antique shop. It is a pet-friendly BnB, and it has WiFi available but does not a TV in every room. It is about a half hour away from Charlottesville... More

The Mark Addy is a cute bed and breakfast, located in Nellysford, VA. The owners are personable and do what is needed to make you feel welcome and comfortable. One thing that we were not prepared for was a bed that was very high - so high that a short person (5'3") needed the two step stool, which was provided... More

There were four of us that were celebrating some retirements and wanted to go someplace different. My impressions were as follows: The property is older but is very clean, we had no problems with the housekeeping. We did get the room with the creakiest floors (Elina) and Leslie even made up a poem about it, but that is to be... More

We enjoyed the wine and beer tour weekend with another couple. We especially enjoyed lounging on the first floor balcony outside our door and sipping on our day's purchases from the local vineyards and breweries. It was very relaxing to stroll the grounds and just relax in the beautiful country. Food was enjoyable and I looked forward to it each... More

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Mark Addy Inn. It was the perfect location from which to visit wineries and breweries nearby and drive the Blue Ridge Parkway. We enjoyed the breakfasts in the morning and found Leslie to be very personable and went out of her way to respond to any questions we had or... More

As we arrived & saw the beautiful and well kept flower gardens, we knew we were in for a spencial experience. Leslie welcomed us, told us about the home, the area, the restaurants, attractions, including wineries, breweries, and a cidery. We had several discount vouchers for some local attractions. We also enjoyed 1 evening, slowly riding through the adjacent Wintergreen... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2015

We stayed at the Mark Addy with another couple in April, 2015. The location and the grounds were great. Our mission was to visit Viriginia's wineries. The breakfast was truly gourmet, extraordinary indeed! The history of the house is interesting. Thank you to Leslie and Rafi for your hospitality.
