Excellent food and hospitality. Impeccable accommodations with an amazing view. Even in winter we enjoyed what the area had to offer. Very peaceful, a great getaway! Don't miss the Natural Bridge when you're in the area, it's beautiful. More

I chose this Bed and Breakfast for our honeymoon and was not disappointed. I have stayed at a variety of bed and breakfasts over the years while travelling and was genuinely delighted about this entire experience, as was my wife. The hosts were excellent: knowledgable, hospitable, gregarious. The property is well-located with easy access to both history and nature adventures.... More

This B & B is a real gem! Located in beautiful Natural Bridge, VA, it is a very clean, peaceful, and charming place. The proprietors are English and show their guests great hospitality and fantastic food. The British breakfasts and fish and chips dinners are unique and very tasty. The room was very comfortable and the large balcony boasts one... More

Came across the Blacksmith Inn on Tripadvisor. So glad we went. Barrie and Beryl were precious. The Inn was spotless, beautifully decorated and you could spend hours looking at all the heirlooms. The breakfasts were incredible and the authentic fish and chips were the best I've ever tasted. We plan on returning to the area just for the Blacksmith Inn. More

We had a very pleasant weekend at the Blacksmith Inn. Barrie and Beryl are warm hosts, very hospitable, and really take interest in each person who stays. The breakfasts were excellent - very tasty food, and those who appreciate good tea will enjoy the Yorkshire tea shipped from England. The fish and chips were excellent as well! I would highly... Nowhere else will you feel more at home than at Barrie and Beryl's Blacksmith Inn in Virginia. Warm hosts. Great conversations. Beautiful scenery. Hearty English breakfast with Beryl's homemade bread with whole milled flours from England. To-die-for curry dinner, prepared by Barrie, a skilled he picked up from living in India. The icing on the cake is the stories of... More

A really fun place to stay and to dine. Wonderful hosts, who do all their own cooking. But be forewarned that it is not just intensely English, it's English like in the days before London became a foodie destination. More

A superb B&B. The hospitality was exceptional and the food was delicious. As a world travelor this was like being back in England. Barrie and Beryl were awesome hosts and suggested numerous activities and restaurants around town. The fish and chips were perfectly cooked and very large portions. The breakfast was huge and very filling. The rooms have TV and... More

This is a fantastic B& B. The owners are very entertaining. The setting could not be prettier. It is probably fantastic when the fall colors are at its prime. This is a true English B& B. The first time I had black pudding and it was great! The fish and chips were also good. Remember to give the owners 24... More
