We stayed in a room with a great view from the balcony. The room was clean and nicely decorated as well as reasonably priced. Everything worked. The hotel maintains a colonial décor. We ate in the hotel restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The food was excellent. Order the blueberry pancake breakfast. We hiked the "new" 3+ mile trail behind the... More

I stayed here with my family to tour all of Natural Bridges usual attractions. Im really torn on this hotel. It's stunning outside and the lobby and dining room are beautiful, but the rooms are needing some attention. It was drizzling and humid when we came and our room was so damp. We cranked the ac but that didn't help... More

This was our second stay at this Hotel. We decided to stay here again because if it's convenient location (across from the Natural Bridge). The hotel it's outdated and seemed to be dirty (but it think its because is so old!). Good choice just to go and sleep. There are some fun things to do during the day outside.

This place is falling apart at the seems! Every door has paint pealing. The room has random screws in the wall. A 20 year old TV with a smaller screen than my laptop. All the shelves in the bathroom where falling off the wall. The "wifi" awl sooo slow that i couldn't even look up a map to get out... More

Unfortunately, what was once a grand and elegant hotel, but is now in severe need of repairs and maintenance. Our room was clean enough, but gloomy with not enough lighting; telephone was dead--not plugged in we found, bathroom had lots of mold, needs complete redo including an exhaust fan. We were looking forward to dinner and the dining room was... More

I had such high hopes. I read all the reviews so I went in with my eyes wide open. The hotel is beautiful OUTSIDE. Inside, a whole different story. First let me say that we are not 4 star people. Maybe not even 3 star people. I mean we spend quite a bit of time at the Circus Circus in... More

We arrived in early August for a 2 night stay. The hotel was reminiscent of a by gone era, it seemed a bit lonely as if waiting for something to happen. When I made the reservation I upgraded to a view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I envisioned sitting at the window enjoying the view through large glass. What we... More

First I was quoted a price over the phone for 3 adults and tickets package (normally 2 adults and 2 children) I was clear to state 3 ADULTS. When we arrived everything went smoothly but upon arriving at our room my daughters and I were totally disgusted. I expect some wear for historical hotel but the rooms were filthy, dated,... More

We arrived hotel on Thursday evening at 7:00 pm. Checkin time was average. I had reservation and later change my room with family package that include Natural Bridge light & drama, Natural Bridge and Cavern tickets with complimentary breakfast. Otherwise you have to pay for breakfast as in general there was no complimentary breakfast. I suggest that one should by... More

My overall rating is negative zero but I could not submit review without putting in 1 mark. When we finally arrived at this Hotel it was after 8pm. First upon check in we were told that we did not have a reservation even though we made an online reservation. After straightening that out it was already 8:50pm and we asked... More
