Right off hwy. very quiet, escort to site. Full hookups and level sites. Laundry room was very clean. $1.75 to wash and $1.25 to dry. Only drawback for me was the sewer hookup was at rear of site and my termination valve was near middle of travel trailer. Will stay here again.

We stayed here for my daughter's graduation from Virginia Tech. The campground is located in a very hilly area and while a few of the sites are snug for our 5th wheel, the best has been made of every site. The owners are outstanding! They held events to bring all the campers together and stopped by everyday to ask if... More

Long paved driveway into the park but internal roads and sites are gravel. Turns inside the park are very tight. Sites are terraced with lots of trees. Pull thru site was long enough to fit 40' mh and tow. Sites are narrow in width so you're looking down on the next rig. Hookups are in the middle. Good water pressure.... More

Folks here are friendly and helpful, area is lovely. But our assigned site, #84, was virtually unusable. Not even room on the side to set up camp chairs, old picnic table (up 3 steps) sat at about a 30 degree angle, hookup side dropped down steep making hookup difficult. (Please note that we have a small 22' C-class rv, not... More

Welcoming and friendly! Owners and staff were great making sure we liked our site and that we were comfortable for our visit! Great campground! Looking forward to a return visit! Might have to try the cute cabins for a weekend area visit. Beautiful area

We were so excited to come back to this campground, it had been nearly 11 years. Its so convienent to the Safari and Natural Bridge. We reserved the Deluxe Pull thru site, and it looked perfect online with a deck, fire pit, swing, table with an umbrella. it was nice knowing we didn't have to bring everything. Once we arrived... Easy access from I81, but interior roads can be a little tight in spots. Since this part of Virginia is so hilly, the sites are terraced, and many (if not most) of them are pretty unlevel side to side. It was interesting to see how creative campers were in trying to get their rigs level. Most of the sites are... More

We stayed here one night in July, 2014. Sites were not very level and we had to switch sites from the original one they assigned us, because we could not level our 24' travel trailer. After the initial site change, all went well. The surroundings are pleasant, and the facilities are nice. They have a very nice dog run.

We spent 3 nights in this KOA campground in our fifth-wheel trailer during a leisurely fall tour of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We decided to stay in the KOA because I needed to attend a meeting via teleconference with Internet access, and it was time to do laundry. In addition to the campground's free WiFi, I had two bars from... More

I was very impressed with this campground right at the entrance. As we drove up the driveway the grounds were well kept. The manager in the office was very welcoming. The campsites were well marked. I loved the cabins with the swing on the porch that you could rent. The deluxe sites had their own deck. Will definitely stop and... More
