Great visit to Strenneth - yet again - unrivalled hospitality and warm welcome. Lovely room and location, brilliant breakfast - homemade and locally sourced ingredients, and as always a very cheery greeting from Paul and Yolanda with nothing too much trouble - early or late in the day. Looking forward to our return.

Phoned on a Tuesday and Paul was full, but he did manage to fit me in for the three nights I wanted to stay. Very comfortable and clean and the breakfast really set you up for the day. Will definitely go there again.

Stayed for 2nights in August, nice peacefull location in countryside. We were welcomed with coffee and cake and sat on veranda, a good start. Room nice and a comfortable bed, we were overlooking garden which was pleasant. Bathroom very small but not a problem. Breakfast good with local sausages which were very nice served in a typical old beamed dining... More

My Daughter , 6 year old Grandson and myself visited the nearby Steam museum in Diss and decided to stay nearby for the night. On arrival we were welcomed with tea and cake and a very warm welcome. On being shown to our room and seeing the 4 poster bed we were delighted with the lovely Tudor type room. The en... More

Stayed for two nights whilst visiting family and friends in nearby Eye. I am well over 6 ft tall and the single room was, therefore, rather cramped with a low ceiling and a short, albeit very comfortable, bed. I managed to avoid banging my head on the low doors ! The toilet and wash hand basin are in the room,... More

Thank you for your review. You are a very tall man perhaps 6'4'' and it was clear to me when you arrived that the single bed was going to be too short. I did offer an upgrade to a double room for an additional £7 which would have been more comfortable for you but you refused . Our house is... More

We visited in June, the place was apparently busy (F3 at Snetterton) but you would never know it, all was quiet. Yolanda is attentive, Paul cooks a super breakfast, the service ladies are all smiles and efficient. Overall a quality B&B with a hotel feel. A lovely place to stay if you need peace and quiet within a 5 min.... More

We stayed for a wedding so it was extremely convenient. The breakfasts are fantastic and they really fussed over us and made sure we were full on all the delicious local produce ( I would extend the breakfast times to at least 9.30 though as being on holiday means sleep ins for those without kids!). We had a two storey... More

We stayed for 3 days at Strenneth and enjoyed our visit to this part of the country very much. We mostly saw Yolanda who could not do enough to make sure we had the most attentive and wonderful breakfast, with excellent local produce, homemade jams and locally produced apple juice. It is worth staying here for the breakfast alone. The... More

Thank you for your kind review. We agree that it is frustrating that some mobile phone operators provide a terrible service in our area and in particular Orange and its associated partners. In this day and age this is not acceptable and you should take up the lack of proper coverage with your phone provider. Vodafone works reasonably well at... More

Lovely place to stay. Hosts were amazing and very attentive to needs. Breakfast was amazing ... Local produce with plenty on offer.. Spoilt for choice . Definately recommended to others. The rooms were very comfy and spotless with adequate supplies.

Quiet surroundings, clean and spacious cottage, friendly owners, good location and great value for money. Ideal for families with small children who want to spend a relaxing weekend far from the madding crowd.
