We had two lovely rooms at this inn. My husband, mother, and stepfather met here to explore Northern Virginia wine country. The location of this inn was perfect for this endeavor. Middleburg is a pretty town with lots of neat shops that really should stay open a bit longer at least during the warm weather season. We had a nice... more

Although we were new to B&B our experience here will certainly encourage us to try others. Having said that, The Middleburg Country Inn could not have been bettered. There were cookies, M&Ms, ice cream and even a glass of wine to welcome us. The owner Jo Ann seemed delighted to meet us and nothing was too much trouble. Our room... more

The best thing about this great little inn is the breakfast. JoAnn started us off with some innocuous-looking Lemon Cake. No matter who you are, and no matter what you do, YOU ARE NOT READY FOR JOANN'S LEMON CAKE. JoAnn's lemon cake is so good, it's alive. It actually leaps off the plate, swan dives onto your tongue, and calls... more

My girfriend and I are longtime B&B skeptics, but we just had a lovely winter weekend getaway at the Middleburg Country Inn. From Jo-Anne's welcome with chardonnay through the heavenly breakfast the following morning (go for the apple spice waffles and the bacon!), we had a wonderful stay. The Sully room was beautifully appointed but also thoroughly comfortable, and it... more

I stay at the Middleburg Country Inn whenever I visit the area. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and charming. The delicious breakfast is something I look forward to. Joanne is super helpful with reservations and arrangements, and I have always been well treated by everyone there. I also love the location-you can walk anywhere in town. more

This inn is so wonderful; we just came back from a weekend there and cannot say enough about how friendly and helpful the owners are. They really go above and beyond compared to other places we've stayed. The town of Middleburg is really cute; lots of great shops and restaurants and the country around the town is so beautiful--lots of... more

We had a wonderful experience at the Middleburg Inn. The Inn was very clean and the breakfast was yummy! The owners were very nice and helpful. Plus, you can walk through the charming streets of Middleburg and have dinner at one of the many restaurants close by. more

Like another reviewer, I have stayed at some of the best properties in Virginia - The Homestead, Greenbrier, Tides Inn, Clifton Inn ... and although a B&B has different characteristics than a resort or a larger inn, the Middleburg Country Inn won my heart. I was greeted by JoAnn who made me feel right at home, although at home my... more

My husband and I spent a wonderful Fourth of July weekend at the Middleburg Country Inn. We felt welcomed and pampered from the moment we arrived until our departure. We have stayed in some of the region's finest hotels (Williamsburg Inn, The Homestead, The Jefferson) and our stay at the Middleburg Country Inn was as good as, if not better... more
