We enjoyed every moment, the staff took care of every request. We got engaged here and will never forget the efforts from all the staff it was perfect. The food was wonderful and the dessert ( pecan pie) off the charts! We will look forward to another stay here.

I spent a relaxing weekend getaway at this charming inn. It has been around forever and never disappoints. The rooms were charming and comfortable. I ate both dinner and breakfast in the Tavern and the staff was friendly and superb. The bartender was the nicest! I stayed in one of the outer rooms which had a nice TV and even... More

My husband and I decided to spend my birthday weekend at the Red Fox Inn. Such a treat! We checked in Sunday afternoon and were immediately brought cookies and ice to enjoy a little snack while we unpacked. The room was absolutely lovely, and the staff was so nice. My husband enjoyed the flat screen TV to watch football before... More

A stay at the Red Fox Inn had been on my to-do list for many years, ever since noting its cameo appearance in an old Sean Connery movie. In September the opportunity finally appeared, and my wife and I seized the chance. Check-in was friendly and efficient. We had a two-room suite on the second level. It was very spacious,... More

We recently moved to Middleburg, VA and decided to stay the night and have dinner with friends at the Red Fox Inn to celebrate our home purchase. First of all, we are thrilled to be living in Middleburg. It's like stepping back to a time when there wasn't a Starbucks on every corner, local merchants ran thriving shops, people said... More

When I give a resort 5 stars I am not saying it is the "Four Seasons" or the "Ritz Carlton". What I am saying is that for this type of getaway, it is 5 stars. This very old, historic place is fabulous. Great atmosphere. Our room (The Hubert) was perfect. Very charming, adequate size and very clean. The restaurant on... More

Beautiful historical inn in ever so charming Middleburg, Va. We always stay in the gardner's cottage, which we love. The tavern has great food, and all of the rooms which we have seen are amazing. Middleburg is one of the most charming and beautiful areas ever. Highly, highly recommend!!!

Best crab cakes ever (and I am from Maryland). Wonderful service, ambiance, and menu. A place for rejuvenation and also ideal for special occasions..Gorgeous country roads to walk, jog, run or cycle immediately from the hotel. The most beautiful horse country one can imagine..

This Inn is so historic, even has a room named after Jeb Stuart (my hero) where he met Mosby. It is a complex composed of various buildings. We stayed in room #28 in the Stray Fox building, a corner room, lovely, spacious, with lots of windows, a comfortable bed, wifi, and excellent breakfast included,.in the Tavern. The Inn itself is...
