I have stayed here before, primarily due to the location (it is right on top of the METRO Orange Line - Dunn Loring Station). CONSTRUCTION - They are remodeling the lobby until Feb 2011. This is a minor inconvience, and will only impact those guests between now and Feb 2011. ROOMS - I had a King/Sofabed, 7th Floor. Typical Marriott... More

Visit DC every couple of years and this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in while visiting the Washington area. Located one block from metro station, free underground parking with unlimited in and out, warm and friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, close to shopping and wide variety of restaurants, and reasonable cost. Extremely convenient travel from hotel to... More

This hotel was one of the nicest we've ever stayed in and the price could not be beat. We were there for three nights, had a king-size bed and sleeper sofa, and the room was very clean and accommodating. We were in town to visit family and tour D.C. The Metro is a very short and safe walk from the... More

No closets (a wardrobe was provided), no place to keep luggage I had to leave it on the floor under the window, and the desk chair was so low even at its maximum setting that I couldn't work at the desk. When I asked for a proper chair the front desk clerk suggested I use some pillows to adjust the... More

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel on a mini vacation to the DC area. From the moment we entered the lobby to check-in until we checked-out the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. When I checked in I requested a roll-away bed for our room and extra towels and before we could unload our luggage and get to the... More

On a business trip to Vienna, I stayed at teh Courtyard by Marriott Dunn Loring in Fairfax. I came away quite impressed with the hotel and its staff. When you arrive, you will notice that there is not much outdoor parking. There is additional parking in a garage beneath the hotel. You will need your hotel key to access the... More

The hotel is literally across the street from the metro, which is a great benefit over hotels with shuttle services. The underground parking was gated, so I never worried about my car's security. The hotel was nice and clean. Housekeeping took a long time to comply with our requests for extra towels and I felt they were a little slow... More

Stayed at this Marriott last weekend on a 4-night trip to DC with my husband, his sister and her husband. This hotel is a good choice with easy access into the city. It's about a 15-20 minute ride into the city on the Metro from the Dunn Loring stop which is right next to the hotel. We had our car... More

Enjoyed our stay and our room. The breakfast was a disappointment but not a dealbreaker.

Clean room. Road noise was a little heavy if you face the metro station. I'd ask for a room that faces away from the Dunn Loring Station if you can. Breakfast was excellent and included in our room rate. Not many restaurants close by, but hop on subway and you're in downtown DC in about 25 minutes.
