We camped for 2 nights. The owners are very nice and helpful. The bath house is really nice & clean. The campsites were close to the bathhouse and were clean and spacious. Real close to gas and food and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

My husband and I stayed for a weekend getaway for our 23 anniversary. This was our first tent camping trip in 22 yrs. because our first trip was a disaster! We love this area of Va. The campground was nice, the tenting area had plenty of space in between campsites. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the bath... More

Great value for your money for sure: around $ 26,- in early October for 2 people to pitch a tent is not overpaid when considering the location is nicely in a wooded area only a stone's throw away from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Greeted by the owners in their little house annex office and the paperwork took only minutes. We... More

My wife and I had a wedding in the vicinity, and took this opportunity to try out our new Class B RV. We made reservations , as indicated by previous reviews, stopped at the house as you enter the campground and filled out the necessary paperwork. The manager drew a diagram to where the sites were and said pick the... More

This campground is well managed, and a very nice stay. The only complaint I would have is the RV area under the trees is too lit up at night. The bathrooms: Very clean with multiple shower, toilet stalls and sinks. The campground: Very well situated, and care has been added to place in plants that add to the atmosphere. We... More

After a long day of riding, it was great to relax here. The cabin looks just like the pictures, very clean and roomy. Location is great. We arrived late afternoon after eating a wonderful dinner at Mabry Mill (just a mile or so from the cabin). We returned the next morning to Mabry Mill for breakfast before heading out for... More

Clean cozy cabin with great location just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Small bedroom, queen in main living area, roomy front porch with porch swing and chairs. Although there are two room air conditioners, it was pleasant enough we were able to enjoy open windows overnight and took a welcome break from the noise of A/C. I was a bit... More

Located about the 175 milepost of Blue Ridge Parkway (US 58, near Mabry Mill) . After our earlier long sidetrip to the Natural Bridge, it was a treat that MoD Campground was RIGHT off the Parkway. We rented a cabin, then went into town for a bag of Matchlight and burgers and enjoyed a grilled dinner. The cabin was charming... More
