We have stayed here before and have never been disappointed. The unit is clean and well furbished. There is room to sleep eigh, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, cots of the loft and a pull out couch. It has every thing you could want for your stay. The towels were big and fluffy and the towel exchange worked well. Washing... More

We just returned from an enjoyable 5 day stay at Mountainside Villas. We came here primarily for the hiking and were not disappointed. The Summit and Kaylor's Knob trails at the top of the mountain were challenging and had great vistas. Aside from the hiking, we did not partake in the many options offered at the resort. Our unit, 129,... More

I just came back from the Massanutten Resort (Mountainside Villas) on 10/30/14 and had a wonderful stay there. We stayed in villa 136 and this unit was HUGE! Nice jacuzzi tub, sauna, 2 bathrooms, 2 showers, spacious kitchen with everything you could possibly need for your stay, fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, electric stove, no outdoor grill but they did... We spent a week here and had a great time. The units are bigger than they look in the pics. Very comfortable beds and furnishings. There is a Sauna and large jacuzzi tub in the unit as well as 2 decks. We were there with lots of kids and we could have as much or as little "togetherness" as we... More

The Mountainside Villas are nice units for the money. Then again, depending on how you book, you could pay a lot more, so look around. They are not a great value if you pay too much, and I didn't give them 4 stars because the checkout time is 10AM, and they expect you to essentially clean the unit for them.... More

My husband and our 3 children stayed at this villa for a week and we NEVER ran out of space or fun. While it is true that the villas are a bit dated, they are STILL a GREAT value in a stunning location within the resort. HINT: If you are looking for a place to stay at Massanutten, be sure... More

We just returned from using these condos for a family vacation. . . 20 people including 11 children. This was a perfect place for that. The units are dated as far as decor but clean and very large. The newer units we visited on the timeshare tour are much nicer but half the size. With a lot of children around,... More

We've stayed at several of the accommodations at the Massanutten resort and think this is the best of them. It's not the most modern of the ones there, but seems most like a vacation home of the lot. The units are two bedrooms on the upper floor with a good-sized kitchen, dining room and family room on the lower level.... More

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Mountainside Villas. This was the second, of what I hope to be an annual, ski trip that my sister, some close friends, and I take. I’m a JMU alum and I love having the opportunity to return to the Burg’, visit campus, and spend some time enjoying the warm hospitality and great outdoors... More

This is our third stay at the Mountainside Villas. Another success! Check in was a friendly, easy breeze as always. Unit was clean. Our microwave shorted out and was promptly serviced and repaired by two maintenance professionals. The only reason I cannot give them a 5-star rating is the units are furnished with older items. But that does not take... More
