2nd night of 3 night trip and 2nd of 3 Best Westerns. This one was MUCH better than Gatlinburg but not quite the value of Winchester. This one had a helpful staff and the free breakfast was nice but average. more

Mom and I were exhausted when we rolled into Lynchburg to check out my son's college-to-be. The price was reasonable enough, and it was an easy walk over some grass to a chain steak restaurant next door. But the staff checking us in was unkempt--dirty tie semi-knotted, slimy hair. The room's AC was on full-blast, which drowned out the truck... more

The hotel does have outside entry. We stayed in a king room and it had a hairdryer, heat lamp in the bathroom, wireless internet that worked great, an iron and board. The room was clean and very comfy. My only concern is that the water got VERY, VERY hot. We would stay again without question. more

My partner was offered a stay at this motel from his place of business. I could tell right away that this would not be a very good place. It looks pretty old from the outside, not really run down, but old. The room was very small, with hardly any amenities considering it was more expensive than the hotels we normally... more

A clean and comfortable place, but nothing special. Breakfast was skimpy. On the negative side, there were crumbs in one area, indicating that the maids had skipped using the vacuum cleaner. The room had a big wide window, so for any privacy you have to keep the curtain fully drawn. And what's even worse, the curtain didn't fully cover the... more

I was a little apprehensive about booking a room here after reading the previous reviews, but trusting the Best Western brand, I booked anyway...GLAD I did! Check-in was quick and the clerk was friendly. I requested a room with good Wi-Fi and that's what I got. The room was clean, the TV had plenty of variety, and there was even... more

This is a hotel with outdoor access. Normally, I get skittish about such places because of the increased likelihood of noise and bugs, but it was an ok stay. The room was really clean and there were no signs of bugs (I even looked behind the headboard to be sure). The sink was separated from the rest of the bathroom,... more

Location is right on the highway surrounded by concrete. King size bed room had extremely small bathroom and dressing area (only one sink) and absolutely minimal supplies despite message that we could ask for more at the desk. Bath towels seemed smaller than usual. Only one type of heavy drape thus no privacy during the day. service personnel very friendly/helpful.... more

My family and I stayed here recently (July 2003). What a delightful place! Our room, facing the Texas Steakhouse, was quiet and spotlessly clean. All the furnishings looked like new. We didn't use the pool but it looked very enticing. The breakfast was varied and tasty. Furthermore, there was a very friendly feel to the place, from all the staff... more
