We were in Lynchburg for a wedding and stayed 2 nights. This is a delightful hotel. We were greeted immediately as we pulled into the parking lot and offered help with the bags. The front desk gave us the same warm welcome. The room (509) was spacious (king bed, couch, cozy reading chair, desk, Keurig, refrigerator). The bathroom was huge... More

The service I received was good and staff friendly. The restaurants in the hotel are also a pleasant to eat in, clean and good food offerings. The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. If you are visitinging the Lynchburg area, I highly recommend a stay at this hotel. Convenient to all.

There are only good things to say about the Craddock Terry. We have stayed here multiple times (it is a great place to overnight when taking the train to or from New York/Washington, DC) and always look forward to returning. The change from one of the premier shoe factories in the U.S. to a boutique hotel was done tastefully. Everywhere... More

We stayed here for two nights visiting friends. We were in a standard room on the 2nd floor and it was spacious and well appointed. The provide 2 bottles of water in the refrigerator in the room and extra water in their lobby shop is only $1 a bottle. They do provide a single complimentary continental breakfast which was OK... The hotel was a shoe factory in an earlier life. The decorations reflect this, e.g each door has a different type of footwear, etc. it's kind of fun. The service was excellent and the room we had was very comfortable. It had a nice king bed, lots of room with high ceilings, a conmy chair and couch for sitting. There... More

Everything was very nice. The room was attractive and comfortable. The continental breakfast basket was spare but the nibbles were tasty. Wish they had a continental breakfast buffet somewhere in the hotel, but it wasn't a real problem since there were a couple of good breakfast spots within a three or four block walk.

I stayed in Suite 301, fantastic accommodations, huge beams, original block and bricks, spacious two room suite, with balcony overlooking the green space and James river....loved the huge oversized bathroom and impressed with the bulk dispenser of shower gels...the theme of historic and reuse are throughout the hotel...ownership & management is to be commended!!! the Mercedes Benz shuttle was a... Stayed here 2 nights with friends for a college reunion. The wood-beamed ceilings look like they're 12' tall, and combine with exposed brick for a great vibe. Set on the banks of the James River, our view of the water, trains and a fountain was lovely. There is ONE free continental breakfast (Keurig and mini fridge in the rooms) included... More
