I travelled with my daughter to look at colleges and first stayed at this hotel in July 2009 as we visited three colleges near by. When we returned for a second look at Sweet Briar, I opted to stay again at this hotel, even though it was not the closest at about 20 minutes away. The reason I stayed the... more

I stayed at the Quality Inn for three weeks. First, make sure you request a room on the fifth floor. These are their best rooms and the most quiet as they have lots of long term stay workers. These rooms are cleaner and the rooms each have balconies. Since, I stayed three weeks the best part of this hotel was... more

This hotel has the wrong name...QUALITY should not be in their name. I have stayed at other Quality Inns and had no complaints.I stayed 3 nights while on business in the area...NEVER again if I can help it. I had 3 different rooms on the top floor which is reserved for their VIP customers and Guest Privilege members. I wonder... more

Stayed there for 4 nights. First day there we found that the refrigerator had not been cleaned for there was food left in it. SECOND NIGHT, turned down the bed covers and fouind a bunch of grass that had dried mud or dog poop. THIRD NIGHT, discovered that we had bed bugs because I had broken out with bites all... more

The rule at this hotel is that if something is the customer is wrong. If you need to speak with the manager, don't expect to be able to, they will tell you he is not in and then give a false time when you will be able to talk with him. You will call to at that time and some... more

Disappointed - not up to standard. In desperate need of lick of paint, new carpets etc. Rooms need to be thoroughly cleaned, evidence of some very old trash! Linen was clean though. One good point, Peter on front desk was really friendly and helpful. more

Did not enjoy my stay. Hotel is run-down. My room looked like it had been updated (new carpet...up-to-date decor) and seemed clean, at first. However, found nail clippings on the carpet by the bed. This was cleaned while I was out for the day. My room was very noisy---could hear everything next door and also was across from the ice... more

This hotel was perfect for our group of 40 ladies. Staff was very friendly. Rooms had new bedding with surprisingly Down comforters. Did not expect this at Quality Inn! Breakfast host was very friendly. They have buffet with sausage gravy and waffles, loved those. Hotel also provided complimentary meeting room for us to play cards in evening. Overall it was... more

I have stayed here a couple of times now. The first time I had an absolutely woderful room on the top floor. I was so impressed I actually made it a point to come back to this specific motel next time I came to town...big mistake. This time I booked in for two nights and was given a room on... more

This hotel is about average compared to the other Quality Inns I've stayed at. The rooms are clean and fairly well maintained with new carpeting. The only complaint I had was the low water pressure in the shower. The complimentary breakfast was about average and included waffles, yogurt, and the usual breads and pastries. more
