Nice place to stay for a very low price; a plus nice clean pool and breakfast. It is not hot breakfast, but it's breakfast. The rooms are nice and clean. I stayed there twice and did't have any problem. Yes, I will recommend this hotel. I have already reserved another room for the month of November. In the past I... More

My boyfriend and I visited the Travel Inn and did not enjoy our stay whatsoever. The room itself was decent at most- what you would expect for the price. We attempted to pop popcorn using the microwave in the room, only to see sparks flying inside the microwave and coming from the outlet. The final straw came after returning from... More

This was a very friendly stay. The owner, desk clerk- all very helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast was adequate. nothing fancy. Room was clean and spacious. Beautiful pool. Wish I had time to use it! Great Hotel for a quick stay when visiting nearby Liberty University. Will be back!

My wife and I stayed here this past weekend while we were in Lynchburg to visit our son at Liberty University. I was a little apprehensive about staying here because of some of the reviews I read online, but I decided to try it anyway. If it turned out to be a bad choice I was going to have to... More

We arrived at the Travel Inn exhausted from a long day of motorcycle riding, and were happy that the first motel we spotted off the highway was clean and affordable. Sam, the manager, was very nice and accomodating, and gave us some recommdations for dinner, which we could walk to. The Robin Alexander Bistro was great. We are always very... More

Even though I read one of the previous messages about bugs...I decided that I would still check this place out because my options were limited since I was traveling with my dog. The place was disgusting! The room smelled like cigarettes even though I had selected a non-smoking room. And worst of all - there were cockroaches everywhere - climbing... More

We have stayed at the Travel Inn previously, but last week the pool was open and we enjoyed the crisp clear water. It has a deep end that is 8 foot to allow for some diving. The room is large had a very nice bed and coupled with a quiet atmosphere made the stay very pleasurable.

My friend and I came for an intensive course with Liberty University. The hotel was nice: Comfortable beds, working A/C, hot water. The continental breakfast was nice, good variety, quality items. The only complaint I would have would be the lack of TV channels, but to me that is a minor detail to worry about when you spend most of... More

Clean and comfy room but technology was a disaster. Wifi so weak that I couldn't get a connection. TV stations poor quality - some we're mute others loud. Unfortunately, what I wanted to watch was mute. Outlets did not function in the room tried several in bathroom/sink area and by phone etc. I had to unplug the microwave to charge... More

Right off the highway without the noise and a short walk to Downtown Lynchburg. Great restaurants, the travel center, market, and shops 5 minutes away. The room is awesome, especially for the price but the bed is out of this world. My wife and I don't do well in lousy beds, and plenty of hotels have them but we slept... More
